I have reserved my verdict on Zlatan until after the world cup.I know he has been rather crappy this season, but his first season and his perfomances with Ajax show that the boy can be special. The team has been operating under a strange aura for most of this year, let's see how Zlatan does outside it.

Sheva out – Ibra in? Wednesday 17 May, 2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic could replace Andriy Shevchenko at Milan next season, his agent has confirmed.

“A move to Milan would be a solution welcomed by the player,” Mino Raiola told the Guerin Sportivo magazine.

Ibrahimovic could be one of many players to leave the Old Lady at the end of the season given the club’s uncertain future.

Although he was in talks with the Bianconeri over a new contract, the alleged match-fixing scandal has led the whole club’s board of directors to resign.

And with the outfit possibly facing demotion to Serie B if found guilty of sporting fraud, the Swede is assessing his options.

“Under normal circumstances, Juventus would never sell Zlatan and Zlatan would never leave,” Raiola added.

“But now we need to see how events unfold so that we can get a clearer understanding of what could happen.

“We obviously can’t talk about a contract extension at this moment in time,” continued the representative.

“It is my hope that we can prolong the agreement as it would signify that all of the problems are over, but before then Juventus still have to decide who will now run the club.”

However, the agent did open the door to a San Siro switch if the former Ajax man had to pack his bags.

“I have excellent relations with the Turin club and there are only a few sides in Italy who could buy him if they were forced into a sale,” he added.

“Milan are certainly a team who can permit themselves a player of his quality, especially if Andriy Shevchenko leaves.”

assuming that the agent is speaking the truth, zlatan should be ashamed of being the first player to come and state that he might leave the club.and this too, after the way he was constantly given chances despite his pathetic form.

for shame zlatan,for shame.

Come on. It's implied for every top player on our squad. His agent (not him) was simply stating the obvious.

yes.but the obvious wont be taken too well with the fans will it?he should have atleast waited till the verdict on juventus was made.his agent's statement only showed that he'd prefer moving on and playing for another team rather than show some some sort of support,no matter how minimal, for the team that continued giving him chance after chance even when was was in horrible form.

i know that most of our players will move on if we do get demoted, but none of them have come out with such statements till now.they are showing respect for the team.with what his agent has said,i dont see any respect for juventus from zlatan's side.

im not sure that id want a player who gets his pants wet when a team is in danger of getting sucked in a crisis at juventus.it just shows that he'd prefer running away over fighting, which is very disrespectful towards the team.even though zlatan has not said something directly, his agent's words wont make juventus fans love him.

many juve players have stated that if juve went down they would leave. nedved stated that he would retire if they went down.

its a bad situation, if the club oes down, the players need to think of temselves, espeically the younger ones..cannavaro and del piero will stay, look at their age and what they have achieved, but players like zlatan wantto play at the highest level, not against serie B teams.

ITs business man..

Zlatan's agent knows his client might be in trouble, so he offered a new twist in the Sheva Chelsia saga...thats all this is...

I bet his agent thinks if Milan knew Zlatan is available, they might just end up releasing Sheva.

I choose to believe that at this period, the newspapers r selling like hotcakes and cooking up every story or every fragment of news that they interviewed. This happens all over the world as the media is only concerned aobut making $$$, I wouldn't believe it until everything is confirmed.

Zlatan holding out for Real move

Juventus striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is hoping Spanish giants Real Madrid follow up their interest in him.The Sweden hitman is one of the hottest properties in Europe after enhancing his reputation since moving to Turin from Ajax.

Barcelona are understood to be interested in the World Cup star, but they also have other options as they bid to replace another Swede Henrik Larsson.

Ibrahimovic would prefer to move to the Spanish capital to join the ranks of Los Galacticos.

And it seems likely the £14million man will be on his way out of the Stadio Delle Alpi this summer with Juve's immediate future uncertain because of the Italian match-fixing scandal.

But he's reportedly told his agent he won't do anything about his future until he knows whether Real will bid for him.

Real buying Zlatan would be too funny for words :D

What's next? Inter declaring it's going to be their year and buying Maradona?

Ibra should stay! 2 titles since he is with us! And he is hardly a player to blame when it comes to CL failures. Juve`s style doesnt suit him well. There are at least 2-3 more years we could keep him if everything is goin `aight. We all know his incredible skill. I say give him a shot and when he fails... another one! All we gotta do is bring his smile back. And he - ours`

real will overpay for zlatan like they do for every player. if such a deal exist, sell. either way, nothing will happen till after the wc, which if he does well in, could make him worth alot more.

Huh? Capello has done everything that Zlatan would adjust. The whole tactic has been built around tall strikers. If anything Zlatan shouldn't complain about Juve's tactic not suiting him because it does.
