sheesh..all of us know that all Zlatan needs isa wig. He's as good on the ball as Treze ever since he's gone with the egghead look.
Honestly, if we sell ibrahimovic it;ll just show that Juve is a club that doesnt really learn from past mistakes..People want Henry, but we shouldnt be having this problem if we didnt sell him in the first place and instead actually treat him nicely. Sell Ibrahimovic to Real, chances are he'll fit right in to their system and become a world-beater. Keep him and get a more positive coach at helm and he'll prolly be one of our top players for years to come.
Its obvious that Capello has lost alot of motivation to bring Juve any success, and by its not Zlatan's fault alone that has brought this sudden slide in the team.
If they want to have this 'revolution' it should start by signing players that actually are slightly more youthful and have pace. The key reason Arsenal whipped us is only because of their all-round pace. Moggi and co (if they even stay around, hopefully they will) should start opening their eyes and realise that pace actually is the way to go, i mean look at Roma.
Signing Joaquin won't do alot of good i reckon. He never really impressed me and dishing out that much for him seems, for lack of a better word, dumb. I'm all for Gallas and marchioni tho, and along with the rest of this forum, i would hike my way to Juve's hq and burn every copy of Zanetti's new contract. Seriously, when was the last time Juve bought a young talented player with pace (Ibrahimovic is not my idea of pacey btw).
Riquelme could bring some imagination, but no pace. I'd rather see Pizarro, we'll get him at a much cheaper price. I know i'll get abit of stick for this, but van der vaart is perfect. He doesnt have all the pace in the world, but he's a helluva lot better than Mutu in my book. Its a shame we didnt try for Mascherano before he up and joined Corinthians. He'd be a perfect replacement for Emerson (who really needs to play a smaller role in Juve). We dont need both Vieira and Emerson, Vieira's slightly more profitable to keep at the moment in Juve's perspective.
Defence wise, I dont quite have that much knowledge here, but obviously Zebina's way to old, footballing style wise, to play for us. He belongs in a Chievo, or Sampdoria. I dont quite see how the board of directors allows a player who basically hacks at both the ball and at the opposition for a living play in the first team. Atleast Montero had talent. And i don;t see a future for either Balzaretti or Chiellini. Compare with Milans's two wingbacks, Serginho and Cafu, do you see either Balza or Chiellini being as commanding up field as most wingbacks for the top European clubs. I dont.
I don't know, but itseems like this Revolution is just gonna lead to more mediocrity from Juve, especially in Europe. :toast:
