I need some help... (1 Viewer)

I'm having difficulty getting my laptop to connect to a DSL modem. It keeps saying little or no connectivity. I tried refreshing and repairing the connection but neither worked. The DSL works fine with my parents iMac as I am typing this message. The laptop is a Toshiba Satellite. Any suggestions?

Not at the same time. But yes we use the same modem.

The modem is working fine, then. Make sure all cables are connected properly and tight or whatever and there should be light.

Btw, also check the TCP/IP settings in Windows

Say what you will about Windows but I don't think it's what hampers his connectivity. Why install Linux if there isn't a software problem to begin with?

yeah i think its a TCP/IP problem.Something is wrong in ur IP settings.
