Fans, just use Fans and you'll be fine. Sometimes the translations are easy ;)

Of course it's plural so the article is die as in:

Nominative: Die (in case of subject)
Genitive: Der (in case of possessive pronoun)
Dative: Den (in case of indirect object)
Accusative: Die (in case of direct objective)

I take it you know all the grammar already but here goes:

Always Accusative if the following prepositions relate to it:
Durch
Für
Ohne
Um
Bis
Gegen
Entlang

Always Dative if the following prepositions relate to it
Mit
Nach
Bei
Seit
Von
Ausser
Aus
Gegenüber
Zu
Entgegen

Either Dative or Accusative if the following prepositions relate to it:*
An
Auf
Hinter
Neben
In
Über
Unter
Vor
Zwischen

* If a solid situation, Dative. If a moving situation or figure of speech, Accusative.

There's some other details, you should probably just give me the sentence. Unless you know for yourself of course, then you won't need me.

It did? I gotta go call my German teacher from highschool and tell him he was right that his method was the only one that made students actually remember it all.

Then again - I didn't like him that much and I don't wanna flatter him. So we'll just assume it's all my own doing that I still know all that. :D
