She made it very clear that she isn't ready to marry until at least she's through with her Masters.

Had things worked out the way I wanted, we were going to marry in January, but then the Masters thing came through...

You know its always the other way around... The girl wants to get married and the guy doesnt :D

I hope time goes by soon so you can finally become her husband!

What did she do to you?

 There is nobody outside my family, that could ever be so ominously important.

Nobody did anything to me. I enjoy my space, and as a result of that, I can make merry whenever I want, and I'm not answerable to anybody.

Although, I have to say that the way you're seeing it, is only making it harder for yourself - when you put someone up on a pedestal like that, god forbid, if he/she deserts you which in all probability they will if you go on like a girl on e, you will be able to cope eventually, despite however much you might want to romanticise it, and create the impression that you wont.

someone either ****ed up his mind or he has yet to taste love.

What makes you so sure? Isn't there a possibility that I could constructively believe love is too hyped an emotion? They call it eternal, when its not. Moreover, it can be undone by something as basic as lust. We're a selfish race mind you, and as much as we may think its love, over time, we want to sacrifice less and less. So, its a very delusional premise, the way I see it.

Yes, it is my opinion. And when did I say you have to adopt it? I did think you were being apologetic about the fact that somebody actually likes you despite your habits, which by the way were pretty normal. So all I'm saying is, keep the love going for as long as you think its love, but make sure you keep the man trousers on while you're at it.

Well, let me throw my own little piece into this fray...

Love is not overrated, it exists and is the beautifullest thing that can happen to someone (pardon my grammar)

I once used to be quite cynical about it, but ovbiously I'm not anymore.

I think people who jump from one relationship to another are in need of something that they can't find in the one, and actually need to settle down and take a long, hard look at themselves to figure out where they are going wrong.

Granted if things don't work out between Uju and myself in the final analysis, life would have to go on eventually, but the truth is that I have to fight all that I can to keep her even with the distance between us because I am yang and she is ying.

The truth is this: "Once in a lifetime, you get lucky to meet that one person, most people never do, but if you do, you are fucked, because the rest of the world pales in comparison."
Dude Chxta, if u've found ur women then go after her man, i envy you, Im with a girl now and she's beautiful and sexy as hell, but I don't feel like Im communicating on the same level. On a physical level, we are so very comfortable together ;) seriusly no ill feeling at all, I'd do here over and over again all day if I could, dont need to fantasize about anyone else.
But I can't really talk to her like I feel a true companion should be. She's 100% in love with me but Im doubtful about how it'd be if we're married, I fear the harmony wouldn't be there.

Anyhow, do what you have to (atleast try ur very hardest) not to let her go..ur mentality and vision of a relationship is one that reflects on why humans have Marriage in the first place. To be with ur ONE and ONLY (great if nobody else compares) and share the rest of your lives together.

Given my experience in Jakarta, the last time I was there, I'm guessing this girl is pretty darn hot. I tried picking one up at one of those Nokia shows. Damn, they make them cute.

Hahah, Vo, at the risk of sounding immodest, I'd have to say, Indian beauties are right up there. No two ways about it. But they're not much different from Indonesians, body wise. As voluptous as they come. Just the way I like em. You?

As for me, its true I'm perfectly happy, although I wish it was because I was trickin or treatin! :D
