Wu-Tang rip off? omg :sergio:

How are they even remotely the same? It's like comparing lil wayne to nas (not in terms of quality but just being different).

Sounds exactly like C.R.E.A.M.
Look if you can't pull the Wu Tang influence out of that, then that's not my problem. But Wu Tang influenced the fuck out of your boy.

 pathetic. You're comparing Wu-Tang to Madvillain. If you claim to be a fan of hip-hop and you've never even heard Madvillain or MF DOOM before you should just go sit in a corner and cry.

And Australia >>>>> USA

I like MF Doom. I don't think Madvillain is the best hip hop group ever. I'd consider it on the same page as Blackstar. Though they're two completely different styles.

I don't consider NWA to be the best rap group ever. They were one of the first to do what they did, and some huge individual talent. But you can't even begin to have this discussion without considering A Tribe Called Quest, DelaSoul, Wu Tang, etc.

Meh, his antics don't really bother me. Sometimes he's fun. Other times he flips out when someone disses thoughts.

Ok Madvillain is not the best of all time as I'm getting a bit confused (due to tiredness most likely) seperating MF DOOM and Madvillain. But Madvillain is definitely amongst the best. Madvillainy is one of the most influential, original and groundbreaking hip-hop albums ever. You'd be a fool to say otherwise. Madlib's production on it is second to none and DOOM has that genius flow and those ridiculous lyrics.

And to say Madvillainy sounds like Wu-Tang is pure :sergio:

32 (94%) say masterpiece. You can't disagree with that.

I don't make this stuff up or argue for the sake of it man, I know what I'm talking about.

I never said they sucked. I said they're not the best and they do sound like Wu Tang (I said ripped off, but that's too harsh) in general they have a similar style and delivery. Why do you think the Wu Tang forum loves the album? They've been "buddies" since the 1990's. So it's not surprising. I remember an interview back in like 2005 where MF Doom and Ghostface were talking about their album together. And how they all influenced each other.

Anyway, I'm 10 years older than you so you've got to remember we're coming from two separate eras. Two distinct opinions. I've heard a lot of Madvillainy, I like it, but I still hear what I hear.

Well there goes the whole debate/argument. To say influence sure, everyone influences everybody but a rip-off? fuck no.

I listen to matches too. There's nothing wrong with that.

Just listening to the Rockets game from last night while mowing the lawn.
