Andy, you must be mastering in sarcasm. Give up that meteorology thing already, OK?
:lol2: Never.

What makes me laugh most is Capello is leading the polls -- despite having set a Lega Calcio record for coaching the team entirely in first place throughout his two year tenure.

Now if that isn't distate regardless of the results, I don't know what is...
The way we won and the way we conducted ourselves by the orders of Crapello were not to the standards of Juventus.

I guess what happend in 2004 was revoked like our last couple of Scudetti? :confused2
It has nothing to do with Crap no? and u know Juve didnt deserve tha punishment.

At least Mourinho reached the Semi-finals twice in three years and lost out due to being very unlucky, especially with that nonexistent goal. Capello couldn't make it past the quarters and we were thoroughly owned by Bremen, Pool and Arsenal.
yeah no...I was just pointing out that Mourinho had the same mission but failed and is slumping. He had a budget twice (if not more) that of our Crapcoach.

(by the way we got unlucky too, with Del Piero's wrongly ruled out goal at Anfield. had that gone in, we would have advanced. Craps second CL effort was utterly Crap)

Though Im definately not an admirer of Crap, its just kinda funny to notice. i mean they do play almost the same style football. Defense priority stlye, I guess club history and tradition is what sets them apart. (considering Chelsea has none).

Don't agree. Mourinho doesn't play the same style whatsoever as Capello. The latter loves to play straight 4-4-2 with lethargic movement while Jose can use a bunch of different formations and styles of play. He isn't limited to using one system... that's what makes him far superior to Capello. Plus the fact he can improve young players and make a team out of nothing.

i agree with that, mourihno strategizes against his opponents by taking advantage of their weaknesses and sets his formations and attacks accordingly instead of letting the offense run consistently in a bull-headed fashion. from what i've seen of him he is impressive IMO.

of course since we are comparing him to capello i will admit that he is better than capello tactically and definitely in terms of personnel management.

Capello used a differnt formation during his Roma days and was much more attractive. Kinda similar to the current Spalleti system although without Totti as targetman.

I haven't forgotten Mourinho's succes with Porto and although DD had the better style of play back then, I still highly rate mourinho.

At Chelsea he dictated everything and made a complete makeover. He brought in some very good players, so yes he did start from nothing, but sometimes its easier that way.

The similar style Im talking about is not interms of formation but mentality. Mourinho uses the 4-5-1 often with a defensive priority, Crap plays the 4-4-2 with a defensive priority. Mourinho uses winger speed for counter attacks or long balls directly to drogba, Crap's system is somewhat vague, longball directly to our forwards which was very useless most of the times. Both are unattractive but I think Chelsea looks more attractive because they play in the Premiership and also Mourinho was smart enough to bring in more creative players to the mix.

Experience and success are the key words in choosing a manager and when you look at the list of possible replacements for Deschamp there are very few who fit that category! Most of us want Lippi but if not him, who? Wenger doesn't like Italian football, Eriksson almost always gets near the top but most often lacks that final touch to get there, and that leaves Capello and Mourinho. Capello is a cold, calculating man who wins more than he loses, but when he makes a mistake he looks very vulnerable! The third non Italian of the group is Mourinho who speaks Italian, likes the country, and hates to lose, to the point, as we know, where he looks like a spoilt child! We may not see any of these guys as CT at Juve, but we could do a lot worse than having any one of them. Carlo D.

I will ignore a lot on that list just talk about some worth talking about. Houllier is a non starter as he is terrible. If we hire Rossi of lazio, I will seriously think of my position as a juve fan, serieB is tolerable but Juve under Rossi will take the cake. Eriksson , well, we need Beckham to play for us do we not? Conte Vialli and Trapatoni , hell no!
Bringing nicely to Prandelli and Spalletti. I won't mind either but wont be disappointed if we do not get either
Mourinho and Wenger will be great but just a pipedream
Lippi, I am not sure managing a club 3 times is a good idea
I don't think people on here appreciate what a fantastic job mazzari did at Reggina, they are not a big club at all, they were deducted 11 points and still avoided relegation but just as importantly is that they had the best striking duo in terms of goals this season with strikers that are not of the highest quality in bianchi and amoruso, that says how much good football they catually played.
I wouldn't discount him but if I had a first choice it will be somene not on that list and thats Juande Ramos of Sevilla
