people forget that Maresca can basically play anywhere in midfield. at piacenza, he was one of the best attacking midfielders in serie A that season. Viana is more attacking than maresca, but in his younger days he was used as maresca is now at juve also.
what we have to remember is that players like maresca and viana are still young and are still finding their positions. Pirlo was a playmaker all his life, and suddenly he is a DM who is brilliant.
so i think players like viana could be useful to the club if given a chance. wjuve needs to rebuild, not just in defence, but i think overall as a team.
tudor is useless to us! he is injured 70% of the season. I'd rather give a player like Zebina the chance these days. at least he'll play week in week out.
