Moggi has made it clear that he wants Vieira (although Moggi is not exactly known for his honesty). He did say that if Arsenal were prepared to sell him, that he would buy him tomorrow.

BUT........we know that Arsenal are very very interested in Robinho and Trezeguet. Of course, Juve own Trezeguet and Juve have put in a bid for 40% of Robinho so that they have an option to acquire him in 2008. Santos would like this idea because they get money up-front and get to still keep the player.

I actually think this is the key to getting Vieira. You know that Juve very rarely tries to pay up for talented young south americans.....particularly when Barcelona, Chelsea, Arsenal and Real Madrid are trying to bid for him.

So I believe that Juve will abondon or on-sell there 40% stake to Arsenal and Juve would also be prepared to offer Chiellini (if Cole leaves Arsenal) as well as Miccoli or Appiah if need be to get Vieira.

i see a rare change here on the Vieira matter,
