During the Super Bowl we had the chance to participate in a competition
and two winners would win either a signed Patriots or Panthers Jersey.
Signed by as many players as possible as I have understood.

Yours truly being one of the lucky two! :star:

Well the thing is to this day I still haven’t got the jersey, they told me it
could take a while but if it takes to long I should call and see what can be
arranged…

I'm gonna give them a call this Monday, should I ask to get another prize? Or should I tell them to hurry up?

I have had this fantasy that I could sell it for good money on E-bay!???
what do you think?

It all depends on what jersey you get, and who signs it.

Now its possible that you may get the Patriots jersey, however, if players like Tom Brady, Richard Seymour, Troy Brown, Ty Law don't sign it, then it may not be worth as much a you think.

If you get a Panthers Jersey, well, nobody likes to get an autographed jersey of the LOSER of the Super Bowl, but if Jake Delhomme, julius Peppers, Stepehn Davis, Kris Jenkins, Steve Smith sign it, then you may have something of value.

Let me know if it is a Patriots Jersey, and who signed it. I can probably get it sold here very quickly.

To me.... Buy me a pint and i'll take it off your hands... allways useful to have another rag for washing the car with

Anyway........................................

When you do receive the jersey, please let me know which team and who signed it. Even if the certificate doesn't tell you who did, if you send me a picture I can figure out who the signatures are, and if its a Patriots jersey, since I'm from the area, I could possibly help you fetch a pretty penny, if you're so inclined.

When I get the jersey I'll get in touch with you!
    Thanx for the help...

but I'm not really sure if I want to sell it. Living here you hear so much
about baseball stuff, basketball stuff that has great value over there so I was intrested knowing how much this could be worth...
I just hope they get the real stars to sign the jersey...

btw. are the players and all training now or are they on vacation...
    I'm not fallowing NFL...

was thinking that perhaps they send this guy to sign the jersey
and all the players are out on vacations and stuff!!! :D

    Zambrotta:
Thanx for the advice... will ask them if they can give a certificate that ensures it's genuine.

If I were you, I wouldn't sell it. Only because you, being in Sweden, would never be able to get full value for it, unless you do the E-Bay thing.

Mini-camps just concluded this past weekend, although its mainly for Rookies and players that went undrafted, you see around 95% of the starts showing up for it. The real training camp begins in July.

For NFL memorabilia, all items that are certified need to be done so by the NFL Players Association and NFL Properties, Inc.

That's the only true certification that you can get, and since memorbilia has (or at least, was) such a hot entity not too long ago, the NFL basically has regulated what goes out to collectors, so you can be pretty confident that your jersey will come with a certificate from the NFL.

Yes thats true... the point is that anyone can issue their own certificate to confirm authenticity... but only from certain sources is that cewrtificate of any use

So you dont need to ask for a cert... you need to ask for a cert from the nfl... not the same thing
