Touré: Arsenal didn't try very hard to sign me

The younger brother of Kolo Touré, Yaya, has said that Arsenal didn't try their best to sign him after he had finished his trial with the Gunners.

It was thought that Arsenal had indeed wanted to sign the powerful Ivory Coast midfielder, but the club ran into work permit problems, something which Yaya doesn't think is all true.

He said: "I believe there were means to keep me, I think they didn't believe in me."

The episode has left the younger Touré so disillusioned that he doesn't even want to contemplate a move to Arsenal in the future.

He added: "I love Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool.

"Arsenal, I love their game, but I am not such an enthusiast.

"Spain would be great, where there are teams that play a game that is the most similar to the game played at the academy.

"Barcelona and Real Madrid for example. The English league is also exciting, but the game is different.

"I also like Milan and Inter, but also Juventus, even if I find that sometimes they forget the game to the detriment of the result.

"I am not much attracted by the French league, I don't want to go and play in France, the only club that could attract me is Lyon."

I don't care about him too, man...

But I don't like the look to Juve as "We only want to get the result, not the performance" between other players...

That will make Moggi's free transfers more difficult this summer...

That's an excellent point. Although, the same could be said for Bayern, Inter, and Chelsea...So maybe it's not all bad.

Toure is totally right, Capello would prefer a 0-0 draw rather than playing attacking football any day, sad but true. Juve have just been really boring to watch this year, which has been really disappointing
