i think all of us have seen this once in a while ... it's really driving me crazy ...

i have norton antivirus 03 .. and from time to time, i have an alarm that says i have a virus in one of my folders .. usually, the virus has a W32 as its name ...
anyway, when i check my files .. i can't find the subfolder that contains the virus ...
i scanned my PC w/ 3 antrivirus programs, neither one could find one ..
so, is there anyway i can check if my computer truely has a virus .. beside how can i find it ..
finally,
CAN anyone tell me where can i put the serial number in norton's products ...
