Oh right, Warren G is/was R&B. Is he in jail or some shit ?
No, he's still around, he does a lot of shit for people in terms of beats and chorus work, but he doesn't sing or "rap" that much anymore. He does appear on some shit though out of the West Coast every once in awhile. Especially Dre shit, but I'm not even sure he did that much work on Dre's C2001.

Pac is great becasue his music can be appreciated by people that don't even like rap. I doubt that can be said about many other rappers except the ones that are actually pop artists / entertainers, like Lil Wayne.

P.S. I don't think it's that hard for a famous, rich, black man to get framed of rape in America, especially if you're a rapper and the cops are already against you.

you guys can have your opinion about his music and what not. i will not insult your taste in music, etc.. but do not defend the fact that he is a rapist.

a woman was sexually assaulted by him, he was tried and convicted. what is worse is that you don't realize that a girl was raped in all of this. victims of rape do not receive any money or prizes for putting away their assaulter.

you people sitting here denying it claiming he was framed or in some conspiracy against him are morons.

fine, enjoy his music, his legacy in the game of hip-hop but DO NOT PROCLAIM CONSPIRACIES AND FRAMING,ETC ABOUT A CONVICTED SEX OFFENDER.

i'd like to see how you would feel if it was your sister, mother, wife, gf or whatever. because i guarantee that she was one of those to someone.

I don't know if you expect me to believe that he did it just becuase the court and a jury, probaby not of his peers convicted him, and the media portrayed his guilt, because IMO, they are not very credible and I do not have a lot of trust in them. I'm not saying he did not do it. I am open minded and if they was proof that could be provided, it might sway me.

You say she wouldn't have received money for putting away her assaulter, but maybe she was trying to blackmail him.

And enough with that, "If you don't share my opinion, which is the right one for sure, you are a moron." That is crap that I expect from others, not like you, who use that when they are out of ideas to debate with, and you clearly have some respectable points.

So, I am willing to listen to any bit of proof that anyone can provide. And I hate rape and rapists as much as any respectable human, but remember a lot of the idolised rappers, have murdered, pushed drugs (destroying people's lives and families) and the ones that haven't are fake thugs because they are lying in their songs.

Just had to revive this thread to up this dope fuckers I just discovered:

Cool kids, old school esque beats in all of their songs (wonder who's the producer), consistently heavy as heck beats together with their rapping style entails a dope mix.

They are copying old school style quite a bit, but doing in a genuinly cool way.

Like this songs beat and playful hook:

I've heard of those cats before. They're not bad. One of the guys is from just outside of Detroit and went to the same school as a couple of my cousins.

Met some american dude in the Rock the bells tours concert in Stockholm (Mos, Nas, Dela soul etc), and he said that despite the sick set of artists the Rock the bells tour have in the US, that these rookie dudes was one of the dopest and well received there. Either way, dig the beats alot, and like their style.
