I'm planning to participate in a little race to Cork in a while - bus, train and aeroplane from Belfield Park to Turner's Cross!
Whats the prize? I managed to bus it from Dublin to Cork- worst four hours of my life. Ive discovered the only thing worse then a screaming baby on a long journey: A foreigner who gets called every 10 minutes with the loudest ringtone ever and yaps away in a language you cannot understand: which is the worst part because you at least want to know why its so important this man keeps you up.

No prize; just a few mates generating material for a fanzine article!

I was born in Middelburg :wallbang: My parents still live there, I go back there every 2 weeks or something :D

    Get the **** out!

In middelburg at the moment, there is a fair thing going on. I must of blown at least 20 euros trying to win a 100 euro note in a crane game. As soon as I was running out of money, i decided that it was fixed.

You're there at the moment???? Oh the fair is great. But yeah, everything is fixed. Don't participate in ANYTHING. Just look :D

Oh, go get a drink at a bar called "Brooklyn" (my favourite bar), it's to the left side of the university, which is this building:

Oh right - I read your previous post again, now I get it

Yeah the fair is a rip-off. All the tourists keep falling for it though. Everyone speaks German down there, did you notice? Cause there's so many German tourists. Or did you speak English? That would have been class

    Oh dear, good luck :frown:

    No. It defies summary.

    Oh, shucks,
Marty's released the banned from their eternal damnation and we have new mods in Swag and Zlatan. Tom's finally been retired, after ninteen years of pleading with Martin. That is all.

Welcome back, Dan. I kid you not, I was just thinking yesterday, "I wonder when Dan is coming back from his travels?"

    Seriously. :)

I spoke english. But yes, I fell into the tourist trap. It was quite sad I had to learn the hard way. One dutch teenager (my age) pitied me so much that he even told me in english that I would never win, but i didnt listen. How foolish of me

I was in the hague actually. you did cross my mind if i was to be honest, but since I was with my friend it would of been kinda weird if I would of popped into a net Cafe and met suddenly with my online buddy. Next time eh?:D

The Hague was pleasent actually. Good vibes, and there is one long street in the hague which is almost a copy of a street here in cologne.. its a big shopping area and it has a shop in it called Expo if you know the one i mean.

If you need anymore evidence I was there, does ' Sky High ' ring a bell? :p
did u by any chance go down to fiddlers? thats one of my fav. places in the hague. excellent pub.

infact, i think i'll go down there tonight :p
