To be fair, he was a very good player when he was playing for Juve and don't forget he played 7 years for us and most of them was successful!

He should have not leave Juventus after Calciopoli but also Juventus didn't try too much for keeping him like we did for Camoranesi and Buffon!

I think he doesn't deserve these ***. Anyway, those those who stayed with Juve in hard time are fans hero and he is not!

Forza Juventus!
He forgot that why should we remember it... fuck him.

I don't understand this "Juventus didn't try hard to keep him". Like we should beg him to stay? As if it wasn't obvious that he was dying to join Milan but couldn't do it because Barca offered more.

He waited for couple of years to return back to Italy and only to Milan. Like I said, most of the players that have left I have no prob with. Because Cannavaro, Ibracamel, Vieira, Emerson were not icons and no-body was going to cry after them.

But Zambrotta, WE FUCKING MADE YOU. He's the one who should have asked the Club to keep him. Swearing that you will remain with Juventus even in Serie B wasn't something wise. You do that with Inter, AC, Roma but not in Juventus.

He's a history to me, full of black and shame pages.

Just a week ago, Gigli said that Blanc has talked with Ibrahimovic and his agent all night long to convince him to stay in that summer!

And if you remember that summer, Camoranesi clearly said that: "He want to go to Inter" but Juve blocked his transfer ....

And again if you remember how hard Juve managers tried to keep Buffon and also Galliani said that " Buffon transfer collapsed because Berlusconi rejected it in last minute"...

But for Zambrotta, the day after Juve went to Serie B, he transfered to Barca, It seem that Mangers had a list of players to keep and players to sell!

I agree with you that Zambro became Zambro because of Juve and he made a very very wrong choice and he was not faithful and ... But to be fair, Juventus also didn't try to keep him and they didn't want him too!

Just like you I didn't care for Emerson, Zlatan, Thuram, Cannavaro and Vieira departure but I still think we should've keep Zambro and Mutu...

Then how do you explain Zambrotta's statements when he said that he left Juventus to play somewhere where he can win the CL.

We have his statements here in the forums.

I agree, that was a Bullshit! But he didn't say anything against Juve when he was playing for Barca... In that time he still had hopes to return to Juve!

If you remember, there were possibilities for him to comeback to Juve when he left Barca but Juventus has decided to black any return for those who left Juve after scandal!

That statement is just after he joined Milan and be fair he should say something for satisfying Milan's fans...

I believe thats the best thing our mang has done. We're not a Piazza here or Shopping center for them to return whenever they want. Our men has given their life for this team to return back to Serie A. It's not like it would be wise to get Zambrotta back.

Apart from that, I believe he has always wanted to join Milan. He has a tight relationship with Ancelotti since Ancelotti's Juve days.

I am just glad he turned into such a crap player, heading errant balls to assist the opposing teams' goals, right after he left Juve. :xfinger:

Right now, I also think that that was a good job to not bring back those who left Juve and I agree with you about that!

And for his relation with Ancelotti, all I know is Zambrotta was one of those players who give all in 95% of games he played for Juventus. Maldini also was a Juventus fan when he was a kid but now his a Legend for Milan!

For me like you Zambrotta was a history, but I don't change his 7 years in Juventus with a one wrong decision and 2 or 3 stupid statements...

All of us remember Sissoko stupid statement about "Liverpool is a bigger club than Juventus" but today everybody admires him and he is fans' favorite.

I have no doubt he gave 110% for Juventus but he should also realise how much he hurt and betrayed Juventus supporters when he made those rash statements...he had to be sold for financial reasons, ok that was fair enough, but then you say such irresponsible things, especially when we are suffering in Serie B?

FUCK ZAMBROTTA

Did you read all what I said?

I said he made 2 or 3 wrong things and I know that, but this has no relation with his performance when he was playing for Juventus!

So with this kind of judgment, you should also say the same or worse for Sissoko because he said that statement before he join Juve...

You know why? I don't like your kind of judgment, trying to reach to "**** Zambrotta" phrase in a fastest way!

well Momo has also retracted his statement, and admitted he was wrong to say it...I haven't seen Zambrotta ever showing any remorse for his statements...and like I said, no-one is doubting the level of his performances for Juve

@ESS-Juventino, there might have been many reasons why Zambrotta left. Yes, our directors may be one of these reasons and they may have been OK with selling Zambrotta. They may be guilty for not trying hard enough to keep him.
But Zambrotta himself must take some of the blame. He did always flirt with Milan. He did admit many times that Milan is his favorite team and he did blame Juve for taking 2 years of his career and two scudetti.

I'm 100% sure that our BOD would have kept him if Zambro asked them to. They'd have kept him if he wanted to stay in Juve. They wouldn't have forced him to leave, that's for sure.
But imo Zambrotta wanted to leave and our directors were cool with selling him.

At the end, i'm glad we didn't buy him back. Look at Shevchenko. He was a God in Milan and now he's no-one.
The same would have happened with Zambrotta. He was always going to be different than those who stayed. He wasn't going to be a part of the group that played in B. Probably even our players were gonna treat him differently.
And just like Sheva, he's not a great player anymore so he could win over the fans again.
