You really should stop drooling over every attacking Frech Wing Back you see. Clerc middle name is "I Surrender". Meaning while being a great attacking presence, he doesnt defend very much. While Lyon does score a lot in the French League and the CL, they have allowed a lot of goals in the league. If you really must have a Right Wing Back Alves and Finnan are much better choices. Sagnol is off the market after having signed a contract with Bayern earlier this year.

Mr. Gol said:
Yeah, although centre back is probably top priority.
ppl were saying this for ages...
anyway we have too many options for this position, it wont be a real problem,
but a good RB is really hard to find

    for the only game I saw him play my report;

    He played yesterday against milan, I think first goal he may have been slightly responsible but in reality it was more the centre backs fault than his. Apart from that he played a good match. I would say its a little early going for him, also its not like lyon will let him go that early. For god's sake where are our youngsters!

    i thought he was quite impressive, especially going forward, he was caught out of position for the 1st goal but it was mainly Fred's fault for giving the ball away needlessly.
    He covered well in a number of occassions behind the defence. Looked assured for a young guy.

    I was really impressed with Cris the defender, he would be a great signing for Juve. Although i would take any player from that Lyon side, especially Diarra.

    Going forward he is cool and composed, something our fullbacks dont have. But he lacks experinece in the defensive department.

    Potentially much better than what we have, if he can tighten up his defensive side.

    So what eveybody makes mistakes, no one is perfect....It's foolish to judge a player or a team in one match, let alone one incident!

    Please tell me, when did I ever say he's a bad player? Fact remains though, that he was poor versus Milan.

    You thought he was impressive last night? Clerc literally gave Milan the third goal.

    did u watch the game?

    I defo thought he was impressive, excellent going forward...but like cicinho was always too far forward.

    One mistake doesnt make him shite.

    If so Gerrard is jus as shite as he has done the same thing twice.
