well, to be able to tell every specific things would mean i'm a phsycic. the word predictable comes from predict. hence it's kinda same with football game prediction. now, football game prediction never tells you who wwill score or who's going to be injured. that is what we called prediction, my brother.

and in your case, i just predict you'll go and see them in lagos. and you'll be thinking about these two jobs. the unpredictable thing is like.. uhm you quit your job and kick the shit out of your boss.

i watched too many movies.

i'm sorry if i disappoint you, my friend. all i'm saying is... you're the only one who's going to help you. just look at a wider horizon. and maybe sometimes, you already find the answer. all the opinions are just other people's opinion and from their point of view. they dont know you. they dont even know the situation you are in. dont be afraid of doing something wrong. afraid of not doing something different.

Chxta, if I was you, I would do what is best for you.

Weigh the options: You just had a fight with your lover, so is a move to the place she does not want to go really the best option? its only going to give her more firepower in possible future arguements.

However: If you want to run this risk for a higher salary, then go for it.

Just do as adams said, weigh the pros against the cons.

If someone is offering you twice the pay, Cheta, I smell a rat. And it could be your future boss.

That kind of hazard pay must say something. If you and your betrothed are up for it, that may not be a bad thing. I mean, are you both planning to have kids in the near future? And if so, what are their future prospects growing up in Lagos? A decent educational system that leading to college degrees ... or more like semi-automatics and body armor to go to school in the morning?

And where you live accounts for a lot. If the Lagos office crumbled because of economics, acts of god, etc., would you be desperately trying to find a way to move out and get a decent job elsewhere that didn't pay you double?
