I'll copy what I wrote in the other thread -->

I would like to buy Heitinga and loan him out to a Serie A club, give him experience and see where it takes him. Could be a hidden gold mine.

    that would be nice.

And we could always get tudor back I hope, I really like Tudor. Great defender.

But that was in the summer they didn't want to lose hem back then. Now everyting has changed and he isn't one of there more important players so the will let him go for cheap

If he is indeed so cheap as our Dutch friends report I think we should hurry up and seal the deal.
If he is indeed so cheap, then there would be a reason that he's so cheap.. I mean, not being a starter for Ajax clearly says something about the player..

    Keep him there I say..

You're gravely mistaken, if you think Heitinga is anywhere close to being an adequate replacement of Thuram, Cannavaro or Kovac.

Heitinga is very much so overrated. He has hardly played for Ajax this season and the season before. I did not think he was any good, even when he was playing regularly.

He has been a bit overhyped, but I still think he is potentially the best Dutch defender around. We won't ever make the Cannavaro/Thuram level though.
