So for those who play Hattrick (http://www.hattrick.org/), my favorite tool for planning match tactics and formations has to be HT Ratings:

But I have one minor complaint: the sound-effects of the live match viewer. When a team scores a goal, you get this hokey wav file of fans cheering ... except it starts with the crack of a baseball bat. The file is even called "hitcrowdcheer.wav". Baseball sound effects for a soccer simulator???

Well, given that I was bored one night and playing with some open-source audio editing tools (Audacity :thumb: ), I opted to edit down a bit of Rossini's William Tell Overture and toss in a bit of fade, etc. The result? A pretty good facsimile of the audio clip they play on RAI International's La Grande Giostra dei Gol every Sunday whenever there's a goal scored in another match.

Being a religious watcher of La Grande Giostra, this suits me far better:

Yeah quit playing about a year ago and the team disappeared after a few weeks of absence. I wonder what my magnificent midfielder would have been now.

I started to play now. Jeez I have a shitty squad, and I have no clue how to play.

What tactics? how does the training work? transfers?

You just gotta read the rules. I know they're quite lengthy, but I cannot just summarize them for you.

It'll get fun once you get going.

after 4 days waiting.. hattrick send a team with no hope to me yesterday!! IM so happy! I feel like a kid with a new toy


OK,, now i have to work hard,,as my team is full of crappy players... but i think i found a way to order them


tomorrow will be my first "friendly" game against a team of another friend of mine.... who started like me yesterday..

IM in Panama´s IV division ( X_X ) and sadly my legaue started 2 matchdays ago...and my team lost both of them....

i think i can do good with this crappy team and earn promotion to the next level.....

lets see what happens...
