He was a Welshman (probably), who spent some time as a slave in Ireland, herding pigs. He escaped, got ordained a priest in France, and came back to convert the whole fecking island to Christianity. And, as everyone seems to know, he allegedly chased the snakes out of the country (though that conveniently ignores the fact that we didn't have any to begin with). Every March 17th, Ireland, Britain, the US, Japan, Nepal, Mongolia, and anywhere else looking for a good excuse to drink until sick "celebrates" the "great" man using tacky parades, shamrocks and alcohol. As you may have guessed, I'm not a fan.

getting pissed is bloody excellent. just right now as i post im pretty much wasted. and im at work. i decided that its better to get wasted rathen than to sleep for 2.5 hours. god bless beer and liberal girls...

being sober is fabulous. Not as much as being completely alcohol poisoned, but at the moment Im enjoying being sober all the time
