There's no point keeping him around, if the deal with Guus has been sealed. And/or they intend to let him go irrespective. The team needs to unCiro themselves asap if we've decided his fate. Also, I'm wondering how much of this project was devised for Marcello Lippi to return and how the arrival of a Guus Hiddink would undo the short term thinking meant to bridge the gap with such a return. Even if Guus only wants a 6 month arrangement, I'd like to see Gian Piero Gasperini inherit this team more than anybody else. Even Marcello Lippi.

The thing is that, if we lose the game tomorrow then Hiddink is 110% coming. But if we lose we also get out of the Coppa italia. Ok Coppa is not a high priority but still. But then again if we win we maybe keep Ciro and still in the CI but we lose out on Guus.

If i was Bettega i would fire Ciro immediately. Then maybe Guus can save us in the Coppa and if we lose with Guus to that ok because we still got Guus and had a fair chance of at least winning the game. But with Ciro i rarely doubt it.
