And the Zebra takes the cake.. Do Zebras like cake?

I should be moving this to another thread possibly.

On the other hand, there are Zebras in Africa, and Guus is in Kenya.

Juve 'offer Hiddink £8m contract'

It is reported that Juventus have offered Guus Hiddink a staggering £8m per season to replace Ciro Ferrara.

The current Russia manager is the main target to take over should the club wield the axe on Ferrara after their Champions League exit.

There have been mixed signals from Hiddink’s camp with agents quoted as saying both that Juve have contacted him and that they have not.

The latest reports from Russian tabloid Tvoi Den suggest that Juventus have put together a huge wage deal to tempt him into making the switch to Serie A.

The contract is worth around £8m per season and would help Hiddink buy himself out of the commitment with Russia.

Meanwhile, the Juventus squad has been put into an early ‘ritiro’ training camp to best prepare for the game with Parma on January 6.

The players will come together on Monday and the first two days of sessions will be behind closed doors to avoid protests from angry fans.

We're going to get a draw against Parma and that is going to save Ciro's job. What normal board would keep a newbie who's lost 6 of his 7 latest games and is out of the Champions League? That is beyond failure.

That fucking win against Inter wasn't worth all this shit. He's still here because of that win.

Ciro doesn't even deserve a 'second' chance. I'd rather sack him now then after more points lost against Parma.

6 defeats out of 7 matches ffs! Worst coach that ever came here, sadly.

"News" from Africa say that Hiddink would be ready to take over Juve.

There was no official contact so far, just indirect, so the rumors how we are ready to offer 10mln/year are false.

It seems that Ciro is going to be on the bench against Parma, that might as well be his last match here, if he drops the points.
Well, is it an achievement to win over Parma? That makes no sense whatsoever.

Exactly, with the money we spent during the summer we should be alot closer to Inter. For me dropping points is not the biggest problem. It's our inability to get the most out of our best players and that lies with Ciro. The way we are playing is absolutly disgusting.

In our case yes...apparently it is.
Even in our case it isn't. We won over Inter, we had a good performance against Roma. Are you with me on what I am trying to say? We do have some good performances every now and then but for the rest of the time we are horrible.

Parma can be a wake up call but how long will it last? It doesn't make sense at all to wait for the result against Parma, just Parma and why Parma?

I know exactly what you are saying, we have extremely technically gifted players that are not being shown tactical awareness whatsoever. That's our main problem.

Yep. Shame really because this season I was so excited. Lets hope for Hiddink before I fly to Turin when we face Roma at the end of the month. The one thing would hurt me the most at the moment is Ranieri beating us in Turin. Quite frankly thats a possibility. If we get beat of Parma then what? we fall behind in the standings. Parma is a must win game. Also this game should not decide Ferrara fate that should of happened already.

I think it is.

I won't even count our derbies, that's something else. Even now against Milan we'd probably play differently and we might even beat them but there's no need to hail our performances based on that.

If we win against Parma it is an achievement, just look at our results. And it's not just the results, we play like crap and something has to change. Parma on the other side, just came back from Serie B and they are doing great so far.

Still, even if we do beat them, I don't think that's a reason to stick to Ferrara and I wouldn't make that or even the match against Milan decisive about his future. If it was up to me, I'd be talking to Guus right now if I was in charge. There's simply no thing Ciro can do now to repay to us, only a resign.

Even if we win against Parma, so wat? If Hiddink nods, then Ciro still needs to go. Though, with a long term contract for Hiddink though, since we already got kicked out of C1 and theres no chance for Scudetto. So if its not a long term deal, i prefer letting Ciro have more experience, as long as he can keep us in C1 next year ...

Is there any logic that we don't sack Ciro after 6 losses in 7 matches but we do if we win against Parma now?
That's what I am saying. Why keep him if we win against Parma. Is a win against Parma the standard and the right sign that we will continue winning?

wat i mean is theres no point for Hiddink to come just for half a season ... at least should be 1 or 2 ...
No one mentioned just a half year deal. If he comes it'll be at least for a year and a half.

That's what I am saying. Why keep him if we win against Parma. Is a win against Parma the standard and the right sign that we will continue winning?
I guess I misunderstood you. Well I'd sack him now, or even if we win against Parma but I don't know if that's how our board thinks.
