The problem is when you play with two full backs that love to attack. If you have quick cbs or a DM that hangs back from the play you can prevent counters. If you have bother full backs constantly going forward you can get assed all day long. The important part is to have an anchor (a full back that merely supports the midfield and rarely makes attacking runs). Manchester United does this with Evra and whoever is on the right.
:disagree: Evra is a good defender, but he attacks all the time.

Hiddink should do a better job than Ciro. If not, the club really is screwed.

Suarez would be nice indeed. Hiddink should have Ajax's number when it comes to tactics so there is no excuse losing out to them.

It depends on what sort of formation he wants to use. Personally I think he will most likely stick with the 4-3-1-2, but there is a chance he could use the 4-2-3-1, which I prefer with this team. That could mean more Joe Vinko and perhaps a new wide player out right.
Three central midfielders is a must for Juve. Way too much talent in that area to do anything else.

I agree that Juve need a new player out right and perhaps a central midfielder that is comfortable covering the left. I like Marchisio running things in the center of midfield too much to consider him for this role.

I just feel it's important to realize that Juve's problems won't be solved by merely employing "two attacking fullbacks".

Melo could be our right sided midfielder. Especially playing to the right of Marchisio.

It should be:-

Sissoko-Marchisio-Melo

no, it's great! It's from Tuttosport. Also he talked too much last time, maybe he was told to shut up before the announcement. :xfinger:
Thats exactly my thinking, even if wishful conclusion.

But anyway, there is too much smoke on this for something to not be going on, in general coaching rumours are generally more straightforward and not just invented BS like player ones are. So something is happening, the question is if we can conclude it. I hear from the russian side of things, thats his future there is more or less over.

Thats true, and you know a player who perfectly fits in your more cautious controlled fullback? Criscito.*

*Yes Ahmed, go ahead with your random Criscito insult :p

Thats what he meant, Evra goes on full attack mode in his wing, and Neville/O'Shea/Brown sit back and cover on their side for balance. Same thing Barca do with Abidal, we did with Thuram, Inter with Chivu etc.

That's why they play with an anchor.

Re-read the post. I said Manchester use an anchor so that Evra can attack.
yeah you wrote "The important part is to have an anchor (a full back that merely supports the midfield and rarely makes attacking runs). "

It seemed you were reffering to him as an anchor.
