Good to see my boys wiping the floor with the sorry Greeks tonight :D though I wish we could've converted more of our chances. I have a bad feeling this group will go down to goal difference, and Nigeria only losing to the Argies by 1 goal could take them through :sergio:

Do Greece still play ultra defensively like they did when they won the Euros?
For the most part. Though they do get a bit more creative with their forwards.
aaron who told you that we are playing a bit more creative??? we are maybe the worst team in the tournament. we play one of the most boring football i have ever seen.

the fact is that otto tries to play defensively but with the wrong players. in fact the back line that everybody would chose would include kyrgiakos who plays in liverpool and papastathopoylos who plays in genoa. but otto didn't use any of these and used 2 players who play in olympiakos and panathinaikos. the one of them is just ok and the other one is bad. in addition to this he uses seitaridis who played 4 matches this season instead of torosidis who is a very good creative right back. torosidis is used in the left side instead and as naturally he is not so good.

ninis is not used who has a lot of talent and mitrogloy who is young and promising isn't even in the squad. these were the 2 players that made greece under 21 so good some years ago. but we still have the shit called charisteas in the team playing every single game. and samaras who is a very good target man is playing on the wing. pfff, screw this team, it is painful to watch them. otto still lives in 2004. he doesn't understand that these players are old. he even subbed in a player called patsatzoglou who currently plays in a team from cyprus and it totally useless right now.

i tell toy, we are one of the worst teams. i will be very impressed if we manage to score one goal in this tournament. some years before we played that ultra defensive game but with good players and a great spirit in the team. now we are playing the same system with the same players 6 years older, no team spirit and 2 players like trezeguet on the wings...
