These are rumours just to get some more money from Milan. He's become cheaper than dirt and Barcelona want to make more money from selling him to Milan, we all know he is ending up there anyway.

I don't care what anybody says, I'd take Zambro if the transfer fee was right.

Grosso is good too.
Despite how valuable his quality could be to us considering our fullbacks at the moment are well average at best, both parties do not want eachother the slightest bit so No. Period

Vargas Set For Big Money Move

Catania standout Juan Manuel Vargas is quickly becoming one of the most sought after left-backs in all of Europe.

Despite playing for a rather unfashionable club, the 24-year-old Peruvian talent has commanded an increasing amount of attention since transferring from Argentina's Colón in 2006, so much so that Roma reportedly made a ₤3 million bid for his services before the start of the current season.

The Italian capital club are not alone in being keen on his services, however, as rumours linking Vargas to other top European sides are sprouting with increasing frequency. Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Juventus have all emerged as possible buyers for the attack-minded defender, who seems almost certain to be leaving Sicily this summer.

Catania sporting director Pietro Lo Monaco has reportedly resigned himself to losing their top perfromer, but the 12 million euro plus fee that he is expected to bring in would go some way towards easing the hurt

We should really put in a bid for Vargas. He is probably the best LB we could buy and would not request a salary like Evra wants.

I would pay 12 million Euros for him. but I bet if we gave them some loans or something we could cut it down.
