The truth of the matter is that it's as easy to get a gun in Europe as it is to get a gun in the US.
That is really not true at all. Besides there's a big difference between European countries. But if one really really wants to get a gun? Yeah, I'm sure he'll manage to get one. Just like you can easily make a bomb at home. Still: it's not the same as buying on at Walmart.

What's the difference?

You have connections, you know the people, you get what you want. It's wrong no matter the access.

Sure it is. If we're talking about getting a gun simply for the purpose of going on a rampage.

Now if you're talking about in general. It is way easier to buy a weapon legally in the US. However, I'm sure families of the victims don't really care about that.

It's definitely not easy to get a gun here, unless you know criminals.
Right, then it's simple. It really depends on your intentions. If you wish to go through "the ropes" or if you just want to bust a cap.

Criminals will always be able to get weapons. The question is whether or not your society wishes to be better than it's criminal element.

I guess so. What if you are a regular person, suffering from stress, a sleight, or whatever and just flip on society? For example, in America if you are of legal age can you walk into a store and buy guns and other projectile weapons without a license?

Say the crazy person was me, I wouldn't know where to go to get a gun here. I could buy swords because I have a license, but many can't now because of legislation. So I would be limited to performing a crazy attack like this nutter with just bladed or blunt weapons, or run the risk of trying to buy items to make some kind of explosive device. There is no guarantee of any success.

It depends on what you are buying, automatics and whatnot require a whole different brand of licensing. But you have a mandatory background check and waiting period no matter what you purchase. Our guns laws make it so that anyone can buy a weapon, if you're patient. If you're not patient you can just go buy one out of some guy's trunk.

In the US, guns and gun ownership are part of our culture. As barbaric as it sounds. And that does probably play into the amount of mass and spree shootings we have. But hey, that's our problem.

However, I still believe that no matter where you are, if you want to kill a bunch of people because you've snapped, you're angry, or whatever poor excuse you come up with you will be able to find a means to do so.
