Why are some of you bitching about his asking fee? If we can get good RB with tons of potential & get rid of Grygera in the process, i don't see what the problem is.

We complain about shitty players & then we complain about paying too much for a player with potential.

But seriously, we should start investing properly in that back line. It has been 4 years now for us playing with mediocre/average fullbacks. This year we made an important signing in Bonucci. We definitely need another LB, RB and another CB there though. It's useless spending big money on forwards/midfielders only and playing with the current back four.

I know, that's why i don't understand why some would bitch about paying for a player of van der Wiel's quality. Besides, Ches already pointed out that he would be in the region of 12m, add Grygera in the mix & the whole transfer would cost 8m.

I don't know if they (or any other team them to be honest ) would take Grygera back, but even for €12M, it'd be a great signing.

That's why i don't think Ajax will ever sell him for less than that price,we would be dreaming if we ever thought that his cost could be less than 15m,the guy is now an international player.
