we cant buy and not know what formation we want to play, we need to figure that out first, i personally think the way forward is the 4-3-2-1 or the 4-2-3-1, pandev would only be usedul really in the 4-3-1-2

I don't think he'd want that role and I wouldn't even offer him something like that. He's a very good player and the best option for him would be to play next to someone upfront IMO. It's Amauri's and Trezeguet's spot. Type of players that wants balls :)wth:), who can score from every position.

Playing him as AMR out there would ruin him, we just wouldn't get anything. On that position, if we're going to use 4-2-3-1 that is, we need a runner, someone who can dribble, who's creative and who can deliver good crosses. We need Nedevd v2, we need Krasic.
Forget about it man, he's only a dream:frown:

Not worth it. We already pay enough players more than they're good for.
:agree: Tiago, Poulsen, Molinaro.

He is free, so we are not going to lose anything. He should be add another dimension to our offense which went missing with the performance of Alex going downhill.I am not saying he can replace Alex, but he definitely can offer something that alex can't do at the moment due to age and lack of pace

Can you imagine what the Pandev thread here would be like if he signed for us? The guy scores even less goals than Amauri. If you think it's bad now, just wait...

Decent/good player (talented but very inconsistent), going to Inter is not so good because he will improve their squad, a part thats already strong. But for us, despite him being free and somewhat decent player, he is someone we can do without (as a starter) and that isnt necessary. Has talent, but generally agree with what Fred said.

It'll be really difficult for every team in Serie A once he joins Inter. He'll improve them 10 times more.

Today's Macedonian newspapers confirm what has been told in Italian media so far. 3 m eur a year, 5 year contract. Mourinho is the one who wants him.
Medical on Monday.

Btw, someone above called Pandev a troublemaker but I don't know why he has such an impression. The only time I heard about him making troubles is this war with Lottito and anyone in Pandev's case would have done the same.

Pandev was playing for 0.45m eur a year. Half of Lazio players were getting more money than him. Guys like Brocchi and Molinaro were paid twice more than Pandev. He wasn't given a better contract even though for 2 years he was asking for one and when he finally asked to be sold Lazio set a hilarious price on him that no team in the world was going to offer. Pandev was begging Lottito to lower the price, but the Lazio owner didn't want to do it. Pandev was literally blackmailed and when he decided to fight for his rights in court, he was suspended by Lottito who ordered the coach not to play him.

Of course it was his right to ask for a better contract. A player of his quality gets 0.5M a year, thats disgraceful and whats more disgraceful is Lotito's conduct.
