I don't understand why some posters are happy he's still here/staying for the season. Never justified his price tag (not his fault), and it would suck going into next season with a bunch of old farts in an attack that needs a massive revamp/overhaul.
From a sporting point of view, it's nice to have to Gonzalo.

I let the suits that run the club worry about finances.

You guys are unfair to him.
When Higuain joined us, he was at great form, he was serie 's top scorer and we had almost a decade long of failures at trying to get one.
The likes of Dzeko were humiliating us and we had to settle with Amauris and Boriellos.
While everybody else could easily find their Cavanis.
Man, for nearly a decade, ever since Treze we never had a +15 Calcio goals/season finisher.
We had to break the bank, not only to get him from our mortal enemy, our direct title competitor, but also to make a global statement, that Juventus is back and wants the best there is.
Such events led us to be respectable enough to sign someone like CR7.
Why are we really upset by Higgy then?
Because we expected the world from him, we expected him to handle us the CL.
Personally i did not and i am not disappointed by him, it's all relevant to each's expectations.
But I was expecting him to score more.
Higgy wasn't lazy as others, with less mental issues than Dybbs, but he felt that only by coming here and backstabbing Napoli, this was enough and never really pushed himself, never really shown and ambition to prove smth.
When CR7 arrived, Beppe, or Max, or both decided not to give him a chance and made incredibly stupid mercato decisions.
And now Higgy returns more determined than ever to prove that he is still top class material.
All the pressure for top goal scorer in Serie A and CL glory and accusations of CL choking is now off his shoulders. He is not riding his high horse anymore. He is not the star player, he has to earn every minute he plays. But he trust his skills and knows the coach, also knows what his former co-player CR7 wants and started to deliver!!
I didn't expect that, most of us didn't, but since he does, we ought to be fair...

First and foremost I expected him to be a professional and 101 professionalism is staying fit and being in the weight range you should which let's face it the day he joined and got out of the jeep at the medical centre he looked like he had half a cow stuck in him.

Im willing to give him a chance under sarri who if anyone can get him back to scoring loads of goals he would be the man.

I just somehow think Higuain let himself slip long ago and never bothered to prevent it.
