More details are emerging on Chelsea’s deal with Juventus to sign Gonzalo Higuain, although Milan are stalling until at least Tuesday.

The striker joined Milan on loan over the summer at a cost of €18m with option to buy for a further €36m.

They are set to interrupt that six months early and re-route him to Stamford Bridge, where he’d reunite with former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri.

According to Marca, Chelsea would take on the remaining €9m for a six-month loan and option to buy for €36m.

There are some differences, though, and his brother Nicolas Higuain flew in to Madrid on Friday, preparing to head out this weekend to London.

It’s reported Chelsea’s option to buy for €36m will become obligatory if certain conditions are met, combining both individual and team results.

For example, Chelsea would have to purchase Higuain if they finished in the top three of the Premier League and Pipita scored at least one goal.

Another version is that the Argentine finds the net at least 15 times in the Premier League.

A third option would see Chelsea win the Europa League with Higuain scoring five competitive goals.

It’s all going to have to wait, because Milan won’t let Higuain leave until they have secured his replacement.

Negotiations dragged on for hours on Friday and a basic deal has been done with Genoa for Krzysztof Piatek.

However, the final details won’t be worked out until Tuesday, as there are still discussions over how to spread the €35m plus bonuses payment.

Genoa must also agree personal terms with midfielder Alen Halilovic, who is part of the exchange.

Should have been an obligation for Milan, not an option. They don't have money for that but somehow they have 40m to spend on Piatek. Motherfuckers.
This is what I said in the summer, and they've already spent big on paqueta too... another marotta fuck up

higuain's loan + salary cost them ~35-36m for a year. of course they have some money now. :hihi:
You can understand higuain's frustration though, Leonardo was the one who had to convince Higuain that he was there for the long haul and they couldn't afford to buy him now but will wait for next summer. We should never do business with that sly piece of shit

What about when we loan out higuain to chelsea for next six with no obligation? Whose fault will that be?

It was always going to be difficult to sell Higuain. 31 years, was clear we needed to sell him and two decent seasons but nothing spectacular on hefty wages (and he even wanted improved wages).

Funny how this guy have to mention Marotta's "fuckups" everywhere but never gives any credit for the good things he did..

Btw dybala was the biggest pussy in that Cardiff final, he is no badass so change your username pls
its even funnier when he praises the guy who has been working with Marotta all these years, like it was Marotta alone who did all these deals lol

btw, the real fuckup was even buying Higuain in the 1st place, we were always gonna struggle to get rid of him. but people at that time were saying its fine, we are Juve, we dont care about plusvalenza and if a player can improve us, we shouldnt care if we later cant get our money back. which is fine, but then we cant complain that no one wants to pay big money for this corpse

Perhaps you only read my criticisms of marotta and not when I have praised him. Then again you expect me to praise him when he offers khedira a contract extension with 6 mill a year wages to do next to nothing? funny how you think there is justified praise for that move.

But common to loan him to a club that is under financial restrictions, they were never going to sign him regardless, what we should have said loan him but after a certain and realistic number of appearances its an obligation to buy at least. Milan were clearly using him to get into the CL and build from there.
