I really Think we should cash in on him while we can.

Its clear to everyone How talented he is, and Yes han Will easily manage 17-22 goals pr season i serie a, but stupid as it Sounds, its not enough for me

He is seriously handicapping our offensive game, he is so static!

He has so much talent, but its like he dosent give a shit! hes so much out shape! that he is even capable of playing serie a just shows How talented he is.

But ive have it with him now! He had two years to get in shape, but didnt - it Will only get worse from now.

ZERO service. Not his fault.
Zero service Maybe Yes, but its not easy to service a player who runs 2 km pr match.

And worse. Watch his movemebt in the box before crosses, its non existent. In the past he was lazy When defending now he is lazy When we are in possesion.

I think i would be happy to sell him for 50-60m even though i rate him i dont think he is the best we can get.

Although i struggle to see any decent alternatives.

So i duno what the fuck im talking about. He frustrated and confuses me.

How can someone so clinical choke so often?

To be fair, he wasn't really in any good positions to actually score yesterday. I only recall one powerful shot he took right inside the box on the right side. That's it.

lol trying to cross to higuain is like watching the chubby kid in your class try to play volleyball...can't jump. ( Disclaimer: Not saying he is fat, only saying he seems to have a problem with gravity)

I don't know, but some of you are being funny, you would actually sell Higuain? wtf :sergio: Let's be honest, our midfield is shit when it comes to creating chances and bringing the ball forward, that's the reason why Costa and Dybala have to always drop so deep, leaving Higuain completely isolated. And as we know Higuain gets very few balls, and that's not because of his poor movement or his ''slowlyness", etc. I haven't watched the game yesterday, so can't judge what he has missed, but what the majority of the forum expects from Higuain is to have 80%-90% conversion rate, which is just plain stupid to expect. It is impossible for a striker to score a goal every match from 1-2 goal scoring chances he gets, even if they are 100% clear-cut, it is impossible, no one would to that. And it is not like that Higuain doesn't score from 1-2 chances per game, but to expect that he will do it every game, it is insane.

Against Crotone or some bottom teams we should prepare 8-10 chances for Higuain, do that and I am willing to bet that he will end up with 3-4 goals to his name. The underlying problem of Juventus is the midfield, forcing Dybala and Costa to play 30-40m away from goal, wasting a lot of energy to bring the ball close to the penalty area. Buy a Pogba/SMS/Vidal type of player which can actually bring the ball close to the goal, leaving Costa & Dybala only with scoring and creating responsibilities, and then enjoy the match.

well we bought Higuain from the Pogba and Pereyra money, people are basically suggesting to reverse that move, you yourself identified that we lack a strong player in midfield

Well, when the player's agent is Raiola and he wants to move the player, he moves the player, there is pretty much nothing any club can do about it, no matter how pathetic this sounds. By buying Higuain last year we pretty much secured a Serie A title for last year and, if we win it this year, also for this year. When we sold Pogba we got WC striker, without a shadow of a doubt top 3 in the world. But yes I agree that we haven't replaced Pogba as we should, but that has nothing to do with selling Pogba and buying Higuain. Right now, even Kovačić (not that I would want him here) would probably do wonders to our midfield. But yes, in my opinion, the focus of this mercato should be bringing in a Pogba type of midfielder; would also gladly take Pogba back.

1.) We won 5 consecutive Serie A titles before he came here, so it really isn't an issue. We don't need Higuain to win Serie A. 90 million is an awful lot of money for guaranteeing a few more goals domestically.

2.) He's not a top 3 striker in the world; definitely not this season. He's too inconsistent, moody, and emotional.

The only issue is whether anyone would be willing to pay 50 million in today's game. Currently, the market is rather inflated, so there's a possibility, but it's quite remote tbh.

I wonder how much we made from jersey sales because of him?
