FACT: Quagliarella has a better CL scoring record than virtually anyone.

And I'm not even joking, that guy got 6 goals & 2 assists in 531 minutes. That's 66 minutes per g/a.

Messi takes 75 minutes. Ronaldo even 84 that useless fool.

pfft like one was against Chelsea and the rest were all against Galatasary, Copenhagen, Nordsomething and Celtic. Seems peeps fapping to that would only be criticizing Burger for that record.

Pfff, as if Ronaldo is scoring hattricks left and right against the Atleticos & Bayerns of this world

Nah, in all seriousness it was mostly to show how stupid Drizzy's post was.

But bar Celtic, all of those goals were incredibly crucial for us.

I'm not saying they weren't because they were. Just saying Burger wouldn't get the same credit for it and the quality of teams listed would be used against him to demean the validity of those.

Is it time to bench him? Perhaps play Mandzukic in his position and have Cuads, Dybala and Costa behind Mandzu.
I think it needs to be tried. While others seem to be firing on all cylinders we are benching bernardeschi and costa...higgy wont find form sitting on bench but by playing him while others dont get a chance doesnt set a great example.

This must be the only exercise he's doing in the training

when he gets the ball he tries to bulldoze his way to the goal, no matter there are 5 opponents there. Ends on the first one ofc.

Where would you play him? Tight end?
He's certainly big enough :)

I'm not an expert on American Football but Higuain seems to slow even for that.

just a matter of time before he starts banging them in on a regular basis again
People might be overestimating the confidence factor. It's important but probably not the main thing. So far Higuain has scored 2 goals in 5 games, which isn't exactly terrible. He's not having a goal drought, he's just performing terribly.

If he continues to start I expect him to maintain a similar goals/game ratio and similar level of general performance. The guy is almost 30, he's fat and slow and he'll probably get even fatter. This is the expected progression of his career. No real surprises. In fact, looking at his whole career his last season at Napoli is the outlier. There is no reason to expect him to ever repeat that.
