I think NZonzi, Tolisso and Fabinho, all of whom moved or could move for ~40m and are reachable for us, are an improvement over Khedira, yes. Maybe Khedira would still start in autumn, but if we had signed any of them, I'd expect them to take his place as the season progresses.
There might also be some interesting cheaper options that could give us a hand in midfield like Matuidi, Matic or Milinkovic-Savic.

I don't think that with this player you change the juventus, I think with this: Modric, Kroos, Vidal, Pogba, Koke.

If you can't bring in a proven champion, go for potential and make him champion like Vidal. Milinkovic Savic and Tolisso are promising youngsters and I'm confident that in ~two seasons or maybe earlier you'll add at least one of them to your wanted list and cross a name or two off it.
France has many good CM's, Khedira wouldn't start for the NT either if he was french. Besides he's also 30, you're talking as if 30 is retirement age for midfielders.
I just think that Khedira lacks the lungs needed to compliment Pjanič and is too wasteful in attack, if we could fix at least one of these problems we'd be better off

Unfortunately the Juventus must win the champions League in this years, Buffon is very old, Bonucci 30 years, Higuain 29 years, Mandzukic more 30 years, chiellini more 30 years.
For this reason I think that Marotta and co want to buy experienced players because the Juventus doesn't compete whit spanish and england top team(I speak about money).
Without salary limitation from the UEFA I see don't good future for my love Juventus.

If we only think short-term about trying to win CL next season I also don't see a good future for Juve, but I'm sure Marrotta is planning at least 3 years ahead. Anyways, let's agree to disagree, I think any of the guys I posted would have a shot at making Khedira hit bench around Christmas, you think otherwise. Hopefully Marchisio is up for it next season

I don't know if you all see all the matches in the italian championship but I yes and I can tell you that Bernardeschi is a very very overstimate player, 1 good match in 4/5 but in the small team as Fiorentina you see only when play a good match not when he play a wrong match.
Desciglio is very very poor also for the bad Milan of the last season.
Danilo and Douglas Costa are two stocks(is correct? not regular) in the our contender for the CL.

it's either Danilo or De Sciglio and I don't think we'll go for the italian, we might have signed him as 2nd option if Alves had stayed, but I think everyone knows that he's not reliable enough to be our first option.
I've no problem with signing Schick and Bernardeschi, they're one of the most exciting talents for me in Serie A and have potential to be very good players for us if developed well, even WC.

Koke is staying put at Atletico, he just signed a 7(!) year extension, its his boyhood club, I doubt anyone can sogn him.
If you want to win CL you must sign players that will play good for you not players who've played good season or 2 seasons ago. That's what our scouts are there for, they're the ones that brought Vidal and Pogba, I'm confident they'll keep it up

Yes you're right but if you want to compete with top clubs that have more and more market power you cannot wrong.
You cannot spend more money for promises players and middle player.
Please you make the sum of money for: bernardeschi, shick, rincon, sturaro, cuadrado, Lemina, Higuain, Isla, asamoah..... How much top player do you buy????
