Higuain has been amazing. It feels so good to watch one of our games and see a WC #9, it had been too long. Yes the price was huge but I don't care too much since he succeeded. If we don't sign Higuain (or another top top striker) we don't win the league last season.

I don't think so, we would have won it anyway. We easily could have brought someone half the price and won it.

I sincerely think that wihtout his goals, and with the effort our enemies put this last season, we would have lost the scudetto.

Yes, im aware that half the forum doesnt care about the scudetto anymore, but imo we would have not gotten it without higuain. So it kinda balances some of his price.

He was brought to win the CL and well we were at 45 mins of winning it. Not so bad.

My final verdict is still up in the air, because no matter how many times people say he is a chocker.... In juventus he was not used to his fullest since our team was incomplete.

If we somehow had the attacking prowess of napoli, but with our mental sturdiness, european pedigree and rocksolid defense.... We would have beaten real madrid.

Until we play proper attacking football, higuain will be playing at a 75% of his potential

Napoli lost the league at the beginning of the season after Milik got injured. The period before Mertens grew into the role in the center.

We don't sign Higuain (who carried us at times, when the team wasn't clicking) and the league becomes hell of a lot harder. A consistent Napoli from the get go and a motivated Roma.

We could have won it or lost it, no one knows for sure. I'm just not sure we would have.

Depends on who we sign instead imo. If we had to, i think we would be capable od winning even 95pts to stay above them (doubt either of them would have won more than that, Napoli with Higuain included)

Crszy stats, if only his team wasnt useless, could have had more. Him and Mandzukic on the same team would be beautiful to watch
Mandzukic - Higuain - Cavani

:beppe:

It would work you know. Cavani remains very effective down the right

49 goals in 50 games all comps. 8 in 8 in Europe fuckkkkkk
Put Higauin in that same PSG and Cavani in our less attacking full time approach compared to PSGs gunblazing style (with one 1 player expected to get the goals), then you would have their numbers reversed.

Its just a year ago Higauin broke a historic goal record in a stronger league then ligue 1 (when he played in full on attacking side), so whats the purpose of your post besides fangirling Cavani?
