It's great to see that we can sign the best players in Italy again, and those players more than willing to come here.

lol at totti thinking Higuain came here for money
wtf does totti know? maybe he ought to ask himself why Simone Padoin has won more scudetti titles in the last few years than Totti has in 2 decades

Totti is starting the annual Serie A butthurt-a-thon.

All that is missing is the Hamsik quote "Napoli aims to finish first" to really kick it off.

I know @Badass Dybala knows the Hamsik quote

2 things are different about this transfer that what was considered consensus only a few days ago.

1) The fee (according to our website) is EU90m not EU94.7m
2) Contract is 5 years and not 4 years.

His wages are not disclosed in that announcement but lets assume its the same EU7.5m NET or 15m gross.

This means that his annual cost to the accounts is EU33m per year and not EU39m per year.

Small detail but reasonably significant.

So....assuming we sell Pogba (EU110m NET) and replace him with a midfielder for 35m on a 5 year 3m net per year contract and manage to sell Zaza, Pereyra, & Hernanes for 25m, 15m, and 6m respectively, I calculate that in YEAR 1, this mercato INCREASES our Income by EU113m! In Year 2, assuming Coman is purchased by Bayern, the effect would be -EU10m and then -EU30m in YEAR 3.

We are in a VERY solid financial position under that scenario and have plenty left over to do more deals.

Welcome Gonzalo..

I won't say I am a hater, but you do miss those sitters a lot of times, especially in Real, I do hope you bring your Napoli form with you here in a way more better surrounding, on and off the field. A huge price tag, we saw what price tag can do to a person, Torres, etc. I hope you follow Dybala instead when it comes to expectations from Juve!!

Forza Pipita! All we need now to make the whole world fear us (which is only Barca Real and Bayern) is to make sure we keep Pogba!

Forza Juve! I love this management, and I trust we have something coming that we don't know, perhaps the Serie A Calciopoli claim really is a matter of details before we get them.

Fino Alla Fine!!

This is so weird. I still can't believe we spent that much money. This feels like FIFA career mode, but even then I wouldn't spend so much money. Lets break his curse, he will be a fearless leader now no matter the pressure :agree:
I think he will do fine.

That's the scary part. If with all those misses he still managed to score 36 goals! I don't want to think what will happen if we fix him.

Theres someting that pepople have not analyzed...and that copuld be the reason why he kind of chokes sometimes.

In the teams he has been..theres always a constant pressure that could have been a decisive factor in do or die moments:

In Madrid.. he had the pressure of surpassing Cristiano who is a once in a generation legend.

In Napoli, he was the main guy but he had HUGE responsability with fans because of the constant maradona comparisons and his OBLIGATION to give them a scudetto or some sort of glory...and also the shadow of Juventus always looming. He had to deliver always... because one mistep and all could go to hell. It was nerve wrecking.

In Argentina, the first miss in the WC stigmatized him, and then it was a constant struggle to live up to Messi´s expectations because the dwarf deserved the cup that Higuain always failed to secure.

Now in Juve...he will be the main man again... but unlike in naqpoli..here he will find a teams full of champions who will support him and SHARE RESPONSABILITY with him. he doesnt need to be the only glimpse of hope in Juve..he will be another (important) piece... but not the end all be all.

IO think this will help him to be mentally at peace...and aware that even if he fails sometimes..he will always have someone to look up to and to ask help..he will not need to carry all the burden.
