the defense was under attack constantly, agreed. my point was that the few times we managed to bring the ball forward (before losing it or Real fouling) Higuain lost it by trying to attack right away instead of waiting for support. in fact, the 2 possessions we had before conceding the 1st goal in the 2nd half was both after a Higuain lost ball iirc, and them catching us in transition
Cant believe they dont understand, its like they watched a different game.

Yeah I think I remember that happening a couple times too. But to be fair to Higuain he just isnt that kind of player and the rest of the team left him isolated for far too long. Against a team with a pussy midfield and D like Barca maybe you could expect him to hold it up but not vs Casemiero, Ramos, and Varane.
i never wanted us to sign him to begin with, simply because for the champions league you need a different type of player. we all saw what Morata did to Bayern single handily last season when they tried pushing us into our own box, imagine if we had a player like him yesterday.... hope Schick turns out to be such a type of beast

Got high hopes for this schick guy. I hope we don't leave him there or somewhere for a loan to "gain experience". Play him ffs

So what, im not normal? a great deal of my countrymen share the same view about him. They are fed up.

But he always does well at a club level at medium sized games, so people that defend him will always find a way to paper over the cracks.

"but remember, he scored the winner that time against Sampdoria or something"

Bull$hit.
Ok. I judge him by this two years. I didnt watched him at Napoli except few games. Also not much at Argentina. I hope you are objective and not just love insulting players or him.

You are avoiding the main issue here with deflections. He is not the striker to take us to glory. simple as. You can row your boat as far as you want, he will never lift anything with juve other than domestic titles. Be it the system or whatever you want to call it.
Unless we supply him i cant be sure of your statement.

Sounds more like something someone said out of rage than a fact

this is a valid critic. he was running forwarda alone always... i dont understand what he was trying to accomplish

Don't get me wrong. Im not trying to be negative without reason.

But there are many people that are disillusioned with his actual ability and don't realise his limitations , and its pi$$ing me off.

:agree:

start next season strong, win all of the opening games and then rotate as much as possible. the sooner we get this guy going the better our chances in CL

I def see where your coming from man. Sadly Morata is a Madrid boy and was always going to return to them. I truly hope we dont ship Schick back to Samp next season.

Biggest problem I saw in this two years is that slowness. That is the problem what can be somehow hiden at Italy but in Europe harder.

Is it too late to go after Morata?
One of those Italian transfer gurus said on twitter theres no chance after the Mario renewal.

he really needs to shred the weight. Completely unprofessional and really holding us back. From what I remember at Madrid he was quite fast.

Morata going to Milan and beasting in CL for them would break my heart, seriously. Schick better turn out to be of the same mold as him

For that Milan has to reach the CL which means Morata has to score in the league. A connundrum if there ever was one.

top 4 are in CL next season. With the transfers they are making Milan can definitely make a serious challenge for fourth. Tho Juve, Napoli, and Roma are still to far ahead of the rest of Serie A.

It really would suck especially if he were to beast against us. Schick seems to have the right tools also with a similar but stronger build compared to Morata. Really hope he is not loaned out next season.

You can tell Schick is potentially a counter attacking beast
