idk Cavani offers a lot as a FW but he's not a clinical goalscorer like the other three you've mentioned. He makes up for it being a different sort of player with a wide skillset for a FW.
What? Where were you when this forum was fapping to cavani transfer from napoli? He was a monster for napoli, almost as good as higuain last season (iirc cavani had 30+ goals/season at napoli, and was better and more consistent than liverpool's suarez except for suarez last season with liverpool)

That was a different Cavani tho.

Higuaín is better ,more complete and more clinical than Cavani. Also scored more goals over his career compared to the latter, won more trophies, had more big game moments even if he's choked in some especially at NT level. (Atleast he's gotten to that position)

Yeah, Cavani has been mostly useless for his NT

The thing is, our whooper man is a fuking beast like we have never seen before.

If him and dybala click even more, we can seriously contest for the CL. Higuain is just too lethal in front of goal.

After 6 months spell, would u guys trade Higuain for Pogba now?
I remember no one was happy about losing Pogba and buying Higuain with the money.
I think there were 2 unrelated sentiments.

On one hand, i was never mad at getting Higuain since he is exactly the kind of striker we needed. I would prefer getting the fatman 10 out of 10 times because unique forwards like him are few and very expensive. Most of them are settled in top tier teams anyways.

In the end, is way easier to find a replacement for pogba, or switch a formation according to what we have...than getting a striker like Higuain. As unique as pogba is... theer are many formations you can play without Pogba, given that u find properly skilled midfielders for those. But getting an exquisite bomber is never easy

We have endured MANY years without a top WC CF...the last being Trez, and even before his juve exr he was not in his prime already... so add more years. A top CF is what have negated us many victories in the last years.

It would be totally unwise to make that switch now.

Cavani is no near the most clinical. He misses a lot of chances. However, he does also create an extreme amount of chances for his teams.

He is an excellent runner and really good at finding space. If he was as clinical as Suarez or Higuain he would be better than both.

:agree: Cavani is the Dzeko of Ligue 1, but with better stats, higher work-rate, and more physicality.

A couple of missed chances have incorrectly made Higuain a choker in many people's eyes, but he has 5 World Cup Goals, 5 Copa America goals and 8 World Cup qualifying goals. Very good numbers for a so called choker.
The 'clinical' Sergio Aguero has 0 World Cup goals by the way.

Do you know what a choker is? Higuain did choke in a lot of important games in his career. Hopefully thats all history for him now
