With Dybala's injury having gotten worse, he needs to step up and if he has to in a big way, Mandžukić has to be dropped, simple as that. In my opinion, we are wasting him right now having him play a supporting role to Mandžukić. Unfortunately Allegri will continue to deploy two strikers upfront knowing it does not work even if Pjaca were to be available. And I don't know why Cuadrado isn't used in that supporting role. Playing SS is not unfamiliar to him.

Bit disappointing how Allegri is utilising our players.

Right now Pjaca coming back soon would be a boon as it would open up an opportunity to play a Cuadrado-Higuaín-Pjaca trident which would bring much more fluidity in our game play.

At this point, I seriously don't have big hopes about beating Sevilla who are in terrific form and win the group especially if we insist on Higuaín-Mandžukić pair.

Higuain is still playing similarly to how he has been all season. Mandzukic and him support each other. And while Mandzukic can't provide the kind of passes for Higuain that Dybala can, his height, strength and relatively good technique make him very useful to play off.

If anything it looks to me like Higgers is the CF and Mandzukic is the one playing deeper and making later runs into the box.

They do ok, but it's a bit hamfisted. Not enough technique between them to unlock defenses. Luckily it's only Sevilla we're playing midweek.....

Manjuice is defenitely playing the CF while Gonzalo gets in the zones between midfield and attack trying to connect with the build up often, no easy feat considering our midfield pass sideways or backwards only...

Yeah expect him to score less while he is playing off Mandzukic. His performances are fine, he's not getting great chances. He's bought into the team ethic here and sacrifices himself, he also whines a lot less than he did in trashtown.

He hasn't been great though, all things considered. Blew 4 good chances last game where he should've at least made an effort on goal. Been slightly off for a couple of games now. Not worried though.

Fuck this shit. Fuck!! Injury after injury. Its a disgrace. I am so angry right now. Its not like only our players play for the NT teams and only our players have a tight schedule. We have mickey mouse physicians and a mi key mouse training regime, thats the only real explanation here.
