Napoli's Il Mattino dedicated 10 pages in today's edition to "Traitor" Higuain and how Juventus is ruining Italian football. There will be mass suicides at Garbagetown :ratcafe:
ruining football  crapoli only got themselves to blame for imposing a release clause, better more if they waste the money on utterly crap players would just put the cherry on the cake

“The way he left was wrong, because what you get in Naples you won’t find elsewhere. I don’t like doing the medical in secret, Napoli fans don’t deserve that.
They deserve everything they get

Maradona: 'Can’t understand Higuain’
By Football Italia staff

Napoli legend Diego Maradona finds it “hard to understand” why Gonzalo Higuain would leave for Juventus.

El Diego led the Partenopei to two Scudetti in his time at San Paolo, and it was hoped his compatriot could repeat the feat.

However, following 38 goals in 36 games last season, Higuain is only official confirmation away from moving to the Bianconeri for a Serie A record fee.

“He was sold for the maximum offer of the clause, also because he’d never be able to repeat what he did last year from a footballing perspective,” Maradona said, as reported by Il Mattino.

“The way he left was wrong, because what you get in Naples you won’t find elsewhere. I don’t like doing the medical in secret, Napoli fans don’t deserve that.

“Juve are hated by Neapolitans, and from that point of view I find it hard to understand Pipita’s decision.

“I expect [President Aurelio] De Laurentiis to use the €90m to make a winning Napoli.”
"What you get in naples you wont find elsewhere"? - you mean people mugging you on the streets and in your own home?

Backing this deal at the expenses of Pogba...you aren't even Juventus fans as far as I am concerned. Go fuck yourselves
Give it a rest. You paint a picture of Juventus deliberately selling Pogba to finance this move. If there is one thing we can conclude from the procedings so far is that this is blatantly false. If we sell Pogba we did everything we could to keep him, the player and agent pushing for a transfer while the club is squeezing Manure for every penny. If we sell Pogba for 120m and Manure are forced to pay Raiola's provision then we have officially milked them dry for way more than they should have paid. Under these circumstances the club exits the dealings pretty well. If we sell then causality becomes your friend, we have money to invest and we spend that money on Higuain, now you might disagree with the latter deal as it is too expensive, but in no way can this lead you to the conclusion that Pogba was sold to finance Higuain.

Don't forget the sales of Pereyra, Zaza, Hernanes and Isle.

We could potentially make €50M from these sales which would also allow us to buy another quality midfielder or two.
