we already have agreed wages with Cavani last summer and also have an agreement this summer, so your claim that he has 8.5M now and still would demand a raise is pretty ridiculous.

Cavani earns less than 6.7M net at PSG btw, and knowing Marotta he agreed personal terms with both Higuain and Cavani at 7.5M net, and will try to get one of them now
The media might have suggested we had

THe same media who have sold 7 times now, and all agreed we lifted the clause on Higuain.

We are not signing Cavani. Absolutely not.

Take it easy. We know you are pipita fanboy :D
Even if I hated Higuain it just hurts my brain seeing all of these Cavani posts on Higuains thread. More so when you consider we're not linked to Cavani and PSG are fucking minted and have 1 striker. More chance of us selling somebody to them than Cavani happening unless he throws a tantrum and demands to leave.

Here is what's gonna happen:

-His 94m clause expires at the end of the month?

-If so, Beppe is gonna force ADL's hand by offering like 35m (lol) for Pipita. ADL will decline, Higuain will say he wants to leave and force ADL to the negotiating table.

-Once we get ADL to the negotiating table...well...

:beppe:
:beppe: and ADL playing monopoly

If PSG goes after Higuain to replace Cavani, then it would obviously be because they feel he is better than Cavani

And if the general consensus is that we as a club are better than PSG, then why would we take someone that an inferior team no longer wants..................................................................??

I understand that a lot of people want him here, but no one would at least even question why PSG would be so quick to offload him?

1st, im not saying they are buying Higuain because they want a better CF than Cavani. im saying that they are buying a CF because Cavani wants out. he has 2 years left on his contract and there were rumours that he doesent want to extend. so if thats true and they buy a new CF, its because they had to replace Cavani who asked to be sold. thats how i interpret the situation

2nd, this is not Cavani vs Higuain, this is Cavani at 60M vs Higuain at 94M (same wages probably). even if the price was the same, id take Cavani, because i think Cavani at his best form is the better player than Higuain at his best form, and that Cavani at Juventus would find his, if not very best, then close to his best form. thats a player that is superior to Higuain and would cost less, so i prefer him.

How do you know that Cavani wants out? He would be the main striker at PSG, and PSG could afford to pay him whatever he wants. Plays in arguably the most beautiful city in the world, with a nearly limitless budget

And how do you know that Cavani would find his best form at Juventus? I'm sorry, but this is all speculation on your part. You believe that Cavani would regain his Napoli form here, but there is nothing to back that up. And I don't know how this can be anything BUT Cavani vs. Higuain.

And again, if PSG wants to replace Cavani with Higuain, then they obviously think he is better.

Cavani would need to push hard for a transfer for that to happen. Otherwise PSG would keep him.

Its an assumption. Its why I think we have a chance at him to begin with.

The most important thing is that he would play as CF again. At PSG, in 50 games he played as a CF in 3 years he scored 32 goals. Its not like he has been out of form or something, just misused, but to reach the form he had at Napoli in his last season there, he needs a team thats built to his strengths more than PSG is. Juve is ideal imo

And again, you are missing the point. They are replacing him, if they do, because he asked for a transfer and need a replacement. Even if we go by what you say, and they buy Higuain because they think hes better, that means nothing. Real replaced Ozil with Isco, di Maria with James etc. United replaced Tevez with Berbatov. Doesent automatically mean one is better than the other. Higuain right now is at his very best, and this is not better than Cavani was at his very best in his final season at Napoli, playing for a weaker team

but he would be playing CF at PSG.

so again. What is the motivation to leave PSG?
