He's a great player but 94M is just too much. we should make do with Pjaca and another decent CM this year, because next year Pogba will probably leave, and we can buy 3 WC players, a striker like Higuain (who will cost much less next year), Cavani, Sanchez, Benzema or Morata, Lacazette maybe... this year is a slow striker's market so let's not splurge.

Think of Higuain + Sanchez + a WC midfielder... with Pogba money that's very realistic.

I think that exactly because of this is that we are risking with higuain.

It seems we will soon get to a point were pogba will simply ask to go to another team if we stay as we are. Im sure it will not be this season but maybe the next one, so the board knows that the higuain money will be refunded by the pogba sale.

But if we invest on higuain this sumer, we can have a seriois go at winning the CL with pogba, and even if we fail but we do a great campaign, our revenue will obviosly increase and on top of that we will get the pogba money, which we can use to put our accounts on check.

The key word here is risk. why should we blow so much money for 1 year, and then (sort of) rebuilding?
Pogba will leave next year, no doubt about it, if we win the CL or if we lose... so why put all our eggs in the same basket?
I want a push for CL too but we have to be smart. keep the money, use it as wages to make sure we don't lose key members of the squad...
With this team we can win the CL. Pipita is a great player but I don't think he's the difference between winning or losing.
If it was 50-60 I'd say go for it. 94 is just insane.

"Gonzalo never said he wanted to leave,” said head of communication Nicola Lombardo from the stage.

“Juve have never asked for him and (President Aurelio) De Laurentiis doesn’t want to sell him.

“It’s all the fault of the media, who like to pile story upon story. He will be here on July 25.”
Not to sound all RatCafe, but that means absolutely nothing really.

If it's true that we can pay the clause back over two years (or more) and we have the financial means to do it...there is nothing they can do. And I'm sure if we do sign him, I'm sure theres quite a few players we'll get rid of to make up the financial shortfall.

Gonzalo to miss sitters all season, and somehow we scrape through to CL on back of Dybala, Mandzu, and Paul... He is benched. Juve fans scream for his head after missing many sitters in semifinal and his penalty, but somehow we make final. Higgy subs on in extra time and scores incredible wonder goal winner, FIFA goal of the year.... Becomes Juventus legend. Vesuvius erupts and wipes out Napoli at the same time.

You heard it here first.
