Where did you see they added them up ?

the 44m.33 (not including the Zaza and Pereyra deals) are simply 16.18 (net gain) + 3.81 + 5 + 18.7 (wages spared).
Same with every calculation.

the 75.92m is in the second table. and it equals 37.24 (total impact from this years deals) + 38.68 (total impact of Higuain deal).

Serie A : 8184 minutes played over 104 games
- 71 goals
- 16 assists
=> 87 G+A in 8184 minutes -> 0.95 G+A per game.

Europe : 1799 minutes played over 28 games
- 14 goals
- 7 assists
=> 21 G+A in 1799 minutes -> 1.05 G+A per game.

Taking in account he's 28 years old for still another 5 months.

He'd be worth like 60 million.

Juventus selection, (starters in bold)

Buffon : worldclass, top3 in his position
Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini, absolute world class, best 3 cb's in the world.
Benatia : worldclass when fit
Rugani : Italy's biggest talent in a decade
Marchisio : worldclass
Pogba : worldclass, biggest midfield talent in the world
Khedira : Topclass, Germany went a level down when he strutted off
Pjanic : between topclass and world class, made his transfer at the best possible time. Expecting alot
Alex Sandro : Between top class and world class. Potentially top 2 LB in the world
Evra : aging but still top class
Dani Alves : worldclass, still best RB in the world at his age
Lichtsteiner : toplass, still amongst the best RB's defensively
Dybala : Topclass and worldclass is a matter of time
Mandzukic : Somewhere between good and top class. But not a profilic goalscorer.

The 3-5-2 from this team is worldclass or not far from it in every position, and all it lacks is a true big goalscorer

Higuain is worth 60mil. We are forced to pay 94.

Well this is a case where that 34mil you overpay, will be worth the upgrade
I wouldnt call Marchisio world class but he is definitely a good player
A.Sandro is definitely WC
D.Alves I think this forum overrate him a lot! He is good but he isnt amazing not anymore though...
Dybala - Finally someone who see Dybala as he really is - a great player who will be world class but isnt there yet..
Mandzukic - Finally someone who doesnt call him almost as good as Cavani and Higuain while obviously both are much better than him...

I agree that overpaying here could really get us where we need but its still hard for me to accept such a bid on 1 player let alone someone who is approaching his 30s

Yes, do it Beppe !!! Buy Gon-za-looo, and let Mandzu fuck of his overrated ass to la-la-la-tap-in-from-three-metters-land if he wishes so (horrible in Euro 2016 by the way).
I was dreaming at the and of last season about HiguaIN and how he is the missing piece in the unsolvable puzzle called concurring Europe but I thought it was a hopeless fantasy. I cannot think of any better CF in the world right now who on theory should complete our attack force with Dybala. It may not work and we may fail again in CL but let at least try our best. I am against this move only if Pogba is sold.

My bad, I looked at last row and it seemed close.

But it still isn't entirely accurate. Our amortization will rise by 27m and it will impact our income statement for several years, while we won't make 33m profit on players every year.

I was sold on Higuain the first time we were linked with him, before he joined Napoli, now... :sad:
U know u want. Just look at my avatar, look at it good. Now close your eyes and imagine what he's celebrating. He's celebrating an amazing goal he scored of a Pirloesque pass from Panic against Inter. Roma and Napoli fans commit mass seppuku. So beautiful.

Then we will kill Bayern and Arsenal, then slay Madrid in finals.

@noussa

It can't be taken into consideration for 2 reasons:

1) We don't know for sure they will activate the clause. (they will, but you can't be 100% sure).
2) Even if they do, it will be next year anyway. This calculation is related only to deals made in this financial year.

Which means a 29yo should cost way less and we're not getting any re-sale value surely.

I totally get you. It's not like I'd hate to see Gonzalo here.

But tell me, how would you react to see Pogba get sold this summer? And we end up spending it on Higuain?

The same. We are not selling Pogba unless he forces us to do so.

And if we'd do, the situation remains the same. Pjanic,Marchisio,Khedira is shear impossible to upgrade, while Higuain is a significant upgrade over Mandzukic, output wise.

I like that category. Top Class, a bracket of 40-60M
