Here's an idea (mods? ). Let's all nominate a goal from any league by any player, and we'll vote on the best goal each month.

I like the idea of the thread.

My nomination goes to Stankovic's stomer against Chievo. The attempt was mad but the fact that it went in was even madder.

The special honour of mention belongs to Van Persie. The technique of his volley was simply exquisite. The athleticism, superb.
