I wanted him rested for the Dortmund game because I wanted to use him sparingly in the initial part of the season. Even though he is our most important player (Yildiz and Thuram can be discussed but I am not interested in it atm.), we need him fit for the entire season. But now I noticed that it isn't an issue as Ancelotti hadn't even picked him for NT. Wtf?
