Bremer to Sky: 'I’m sorry for Thiago Motta. Tudor asked me if I'm coming back. Club World Cup? I hope so'
Bremer’s words - “It’s been a bit of an unlucky season, we’ve had a lot of injuries. I feel sorry for Thiago Motta; he was a good coach for me. The way we started, it seemed like we were going to do great things,” Bremer said, acknowledging the positive impact the coach had on the team. However, the team’s decline in performance in the second half of the season and the challenges faced led the club to make a change, bringing in Igor Tudor as the new manager.
On his return to the pitch, Bremer said: “It’s been a tough few months, but now I feel good. Everything is going well, I’ve already started running, but we have to respect the recovery timeline. I hope to return for the Club World Cup, not as a starter, but coming off the bench.”
Talks with Tudor and injury recovery - The Brazilian center-back also revealed that he has already spoken with Tudor, Juventus’ new head coach, who immediately asked him about his physical condition. “I spoke with Tudor, and he asked if I was coming back. I told him it’s still too early,” Bremer explained, indicating that his recovery is not yet complete and that more time is needed before he can return to action.
Champions League goal - Bremer also expressed his hopes for Juventus’ season finale, with the main goal being qualification for the next Champions League. “I hope we secure a Champions League spot,” he said, aware of how crucial it is for the team to ensure a place in Europe’s top club competition.
