So now a question to you guys. Bremer vs De Ligt, who is in your opinion, currently a better defender, but please only rate current level, not what can de Ligt do in the future.

If you go by the performances, it's Bremer - easily. Then, you have to take into consideration that Toro is not Juve and both played in different systems. Bremer won't have so good stats here if we stick to 4-man defense, because you have no additional cover to play so high and aggressively. Basically, they played two different positions, even if both are considered CBs.

So in the end, he has to adapt and our hope needs to be exactly that. Luckily he's not a youngster who will need a lot of time to settle, he's a pretty much ready product by now, entering his prime years.
