Like I said, it's going to happen whether we like it or not. And to be honest I wont exactly be thrilled by his signing - especially seeing as we'll be giving up to 30 mill to Villarreal.
well the lasy part is a bit of a pain to me as well but I will be glad Rossi comes here, we need a talented young forward who has multiple dimensions and although most don't want to admit it , he has that

Marotta said yesterday that we'll sign players only on our terms (the question was exactly about signing Rossi but Marotta talked in general, not solely about Rossi) so I think that we won't go up to 30m eur.
I think what Marotta was trying to say was that there is difference between what we offer and what Villarreal asks and that there is no way Juve to pay the asked price.

Yes 100% correct and now with Rossi putting pressure on his agent to make the move happen I think Juve will get its way

I certainly hope so, but i simply don't trust Marotta on such deals.....

Fair enough.

Alen what do you think is a fair price for Rossi (in this market)?

:boh:

Looks like teams rate him somewhere around 20-22 million or lower because even after the season he had, nobody but us is willing to even negotiate Villarreal's asking price (~30m) and try to lower it to at least 25 million.
20+5 in bonuses is the maximum I'd go but I wouldn't even try to buy him in Juve's place.

More like we'll be stuck with man babies. :)

It's either goin to be 20 or 22, don't mind the bonuses unless he helps us personally win the scudetto or 2nd place. If he helps us get the third star I'm willing to pay 1 billion for him.

You arrived here at a place with man babies, if you don't like it, just leave. Hopefully if Rossi gets signed, he'll stay for one season and you will follow him afterwards. For the time being, it's better not to quote me or anything.

Now soap it.

Atletico intercept Juve-Rossi move?
Juventus could see their bid for Giuseppe Rossi hijacked by Atletico Madrid, according to Spanish reports.

The Bianconeri have been in negotiations with Villarreal for some time and looked to be closing in on an agreement worth €25m plus performance-related bonuses.

However, a meeting with his agent Federico Pastorello on Friday did not lead to the expected push forward.

According to Spanish newspaper As, that is because Atletico Madrid have burst on to the scene with their own offer for Rossi.

Atletico see Italy international Rossi as the ideal replacement for Sergio 'Kun’ Aguero, who is heading to Manchester City.

Curiously, Aguero was Juve’s first choice before his price-tag sent them towards Rossi instead.

With the cash raised from Aguero’s sale to Manchester City, Atletico Madrid could meet Villarreal’s demands of €30m cash up front for Rossi.

I'd say 18 million plus bonuses.
