So many fuckin idiots spouting their egoism...when the situation with Rossi vs Aguero, can be objectively debated as the following:
Aguero WOULD sell more shirts. He is a goalscorer. Has a wicked turn of pace, knows damn well where the goal is, but...he is in no way our saviour, and will cost HUGE money.
Rossi had the best season of his life last term. He is quick, definitely more flair in his feet and mind, and I would suggest a more intelligent footballer than Aguero. He is NOT an out and out goalscorer, but as he has proven, beyond any doubt, if he gets the service, he can score plentifully. He wont cost as much as aguero, in wages or transfer fee. he is italian, so he will fit in to an italian team, and into italy, than a non italian, and he will very obviously improve our offensive options.
They both come from the same league. To call Aguero a more viable saviour, is absolutely ridiculous, as without decent service, he can't be the superstar many people make him out to be. They are both young, and still capable of improvement.
So if its a case of...45m 7.5m per season, for Aquero, who has NOT indicated a definite desire to come to us, speaks through his agent so far, and seems far more eager to aim for the highest bidder...OR...Rossi, who also, thus far speaks through his agent, but seems from those words, more keen for Juve, will cost 15m less in transfer, and apparently will be happy with 3.5m per season...I will be happy with Rossi.
We have many forwards on the roster presently...DP, Matri, Quagiarella, Amauri, Toni, Iaquinta...Out of that group, only Matri and Quags seem viable as starting forwards in a team seriously aiming for the top spots in serie A. We clearly need improvement there.
