how can you say that without seeing what rossi does with the squad? What happens if he delivers 20+ goals and 10 assists will you still want marotta fired?
I don't need to say what he can do, or will do. I don't really rate him, and have a feeling he will fail miserably here. You can't build a team around Rossi. He is a complement, not the jewel in the crown.

Rossi never scored 20 goals or made 10 assists in La Liga. It's too optimistic to expect him to do the same in a league with less goals and tougher defenses, against teams who mostly play defense when they face Juve, unlike the Spanish teams playing vs Villarreal.

So far he's a man who scored 11, 12, 10 and 18 goals as well as assisting 3,7,3,5 goals in the same seasons. A good UEFA cup campaign in 2010/2011 does not make him a great scorer.
Maybe one day he will become a +20 goal striker but until that day comes I give him the same chances to achieve that as I give to Quagliarella.

yeah, because we havent made an official bid yet, and had "talks" with the agent.

You, that know it all the best, criticising marotta, tell me, what this points to
Do you really want to go there? Hasn't Marotta already done enough to warrant criticism? From overpaying for the likes of Pepe and Martinez, to the confirmed acquisition of a dud like Motta, not to mention his inability to sell players, and acquiring useless freebies like Pazienza.

You are also aware, that it is only a matter of time before Marotta gives in to his Italian fetish and bids for Rossi, proclaiming him to be the "Champion" we need.

no one said thats why they are bringing him here. Juventus has always been that a TEAM yes they have some players who have grown into world class but when they came to juventus almost all were not at that world class level. Its all about how the team plays together and fits, more so than the WORLD CLASS PLAYER. Also I dont buy into your premise that he will fail at all. For one he knows these guys he's playing with he plays with them on the national team, and second Conte style is open and fluid and it will suit his game.

Im not expecting those numbers , I was using that as a what if to see if that would allow bianconero81 to change his tune

:sergio: :wallbang: We will never agree. There is no point in engaging in a discussion with you. It's as if I am ATM and you are Marotta. Offering me 20M, when I want closer to 40!
no we wont because we approach football totally different your in love with having the names , I am one who believes if the team is built right it can be great without the names , for me its about the best fit in the system and monetary scenarios for the longevity of the team, for you its about name cache and supposed jersey sales

Yes Rab! We do realize you love Ale, but he is turning 37 my dear friend. He should be more to Juventus like Giggs is to Manchester. It doesn't bode well for the future if we keep relying on him.
