25mil+Melo (we bought him for 25mil) would be a crippling bow to our economy, one of the most stupid transfers ever made and the end of our dreams of becoming competitive again...
Esp if we throw away further 20-25 mil to buy a starter at Melo's quality...

Whats worse, is that unlike the highly improbable, time waster, Aquero saga, this actually has realistic chances to happen!
Fuck goal.com, fucking guesswork/bullshit, have no creditably whatsoever. That would be stupid and make no sense. Cause Swapping melo for a player of the same quality (i.e. neither are world class players) although play different positions. Whilst including Melo in a deal for Aguero would make sense, cause your getting a world Class player in one position that you do not have, at the same time not losing a WC player. Basically the gain you make by losing Melo and gaining Aguero is great but with Rossi it makes no difference.

Like I said fellas, all this talk of Rossi/Higuain/Sanchez etc is all just guesswork by the media and bluffin by Marotta. We will know who are true target is once the Copa is over.

Look I dont doubt that we might have met with Rossi's agent, discussed price/wages etc but If you think Marotta would try to sign Rossi before the Copa finishes you have rocks in your head.

4 completely different players. Are we just signing them to sign them or do we have an idea behind the signing?

Aguero: Both a creator and a goalscorer.
Rossi: Goalscorer
Sanchez: Creator and winger
Higuain: Goalscorer

Something doesn't add up here. What do we really want? I assume Aguero is the one that fits the bill.

1. Can you guys stop classifying rossi as simply a "goal scorer" he works for villareal the same way they work for him.
2. Why is Hazard considered a "champion" when he's hardly been more profilic than rossi? same with sanchez. As a matter of fact what have these two won to justify there price?
3. If we signed Rossi non off you should be angry he just came off his best season at villareal forming one of the best partnerships with nilmar

1) Rossi and Agüero are pretty evenly matched in assists.
2) Not sure if you've seen Hazard? If he isn't a "champion" now, then he sure as hell can be.

Marotta said that Aguero and Sanchez are the two "star players" that perfectly fit Conte's style, while the others don't fit as well as these two. He also added that Pastore doesn't fir the system at all.

Well I'm not totally against this transfer as long as the price is right, and that would be no more than €25m. €25m + Melo would be the biggest bullshit, for the same money we could probably sign Aguero or Sanchez.

Somehow I'm sure we will sign Rossi at the end... :(

I think that if we compare goals and assist statistics, they both show us who is playing for entire team and who is only goal scorer.

Rossi has scored 18 goal in 36 encounters and has 7 assists in the league. If we check all competitions he has played the amount of goals enlarge to 32 (56 games). I think that 6 of them were penalties. Anyway conclusion is that Aguero (2 assists, 20 goals last season) is obviously better player than Rossi, but i do not agree that he is also much more creative.

Deal like 25m + Melo is really crazy, so I hope Marotta will not make such a huge mistake.

I've only seen a couple games against psg, and one against auxerre. There is no doubt that he has great potential but we are in no position to spend money in massive amounts to buy talents that can be molded into champions. We need proven players thats why I've always suggested Rossi or Aguero. Sanchez would be a risk but a risk I would consider taking seeing as he's done quite well in the serie A and is doing well for chile.

I know it's ideal to get seasoned champions, but that's difficult for the club when there isn't CL to offer them (and they will demand it in the prime of their careers, unlike younger players), so guys like Ribéry are much harder to get.
